Smell the freedom, no Ed this, Eds that, just good old banter.

I've a feeling this little oasis site will prove to be the most desirable.

No "are we interested in x" repeated a million times.

where do you think we will be end of next season, in my opinion we can't do any worse than sixth (we should n't do), considering Everton will loose a couple of main players, Swansea will be busy with Europa, Southampton with all their signings are n't ready for top table challenge yet, and Newcastle just creating their own problems that will drag them down .
With current squads ;For me Top 4 with or without Suarez is still a step too far. It will take something to go wrong with any of the top 5 teams for us to overtake them, spurs if they loose Bale maybe, Arsenal may fail to add quality and finally crack (they have been punching above their weight for a couple of seasons now) . what do you say chaps and lassies.

I think the top 6 will be far tighter than any recent season, as they'll all be taking points off each other. Lack of European football could work in our favour if we hit form early in the season, but a poor start could take time to get over if the players have longer to stew between bad results.

Ultimately, i'm just looking forward to regular Liverpool games again. Win, lose or draw, very few things hold my attention more than matchday

I really like our chances at top 4 this year with all of the manager merry go rounds in England right now! I think we are a better team without Luis Suarez. We plan our entire attack around him when he is playing and we tend to bypass and overlook parts of our game that I think would be a better outlet instead. Suarez has been very good at being useless and careless when shooting and dribbling, but does get through don't get me wrong, but our play could develop and have a better end product with Coutinho, Sturridge, Aspas, Luis Alberto and whomever else is up top. I thought last season after Christmas we were the most fluid and impressive team in the PL without a doubt and I expect the team to continue where it left off!

Cheers

I agree we shouldn't be any worse than sixth which when you read it back is a pretty poor state of where Liverpool are right now. There is no reason why we don't have the capability to take over Spurs. They don't spend loads and their wages are under control. So it just comes down to management, buying the right players and coaching. After that is where our problems start. Getting into top 4 we will need to unearth some real quality players, like Dortmund . There is no way we can compete with the teams above us on wages or buying players, especially with the new rules in place. A miracle is required, but we live in hope.
