Just chuffing shoot already. Trying to walk it in to the net. Its just awful awful football. Poor team selection and a manager that desperately needs to go on a long holiday.

Everton have showed passion and determination. Liverpool have shown why half that team out there will not be starting the new managers first game. Nunez simply not good enough and I don't think ever will be, Salah is now past his premier league best and looks lost out there, Jones never good enough to start and is showing it. Sob looks half the player he was at the start of the year and looks like he wants to leave the club and just can't be chewed to play. Loosing to Everton is bad enough loosing like this is unforgivable.

I had hoped Arsenal would drop points but Chelsea had their bellies tickled, it doesn't matter though as Liverpool are simply awful. End of season can't come soon enough , just hope there's enough points in the bag to get top 4. As at this rate that will go . Weather it be Slot or someone else they have a hell of a job on their hands here, this group are bang average and are now showing it . Massive changes needed in the summer, playing personel, style of play and tactics all need a massive upheaval. See you next season everyone, this one is over, with the worst 6 weeks I think I've ever seen on the pitch for Liverpool as regards to what they could win to what they have. The energy drink cup should have been joined by at least 2 more trophies. Shocking ending to such a promising season. Thanks JK you have been amazing. Sorry you has to go out like this .

Is it a confidence issue. Why have we been so laboured for games now.
Why don't we pass forward or get the ball on the half turn in the pockets.
Is it a lack of movement?
I don't care about the league right now. I just want us to play some decent football. It's been a while.

We all knew that Everton would come at us but the level of our performance tonight is absolutely shocking we ate getting out muscled all over the pitch. I don't believe that there is one Liverpool player who can say they are happy with their performance so far. It's this slow build up possession rubbish that p. es everyone off giving Everton all the time in the world to set up defensively and yet again our finishing is letting us down. If we continue to play this garbage we could be there for the next 20 yrs and wouldn't score absolutely terrible to watch season filtering out on a whimper unless attitudes and performances in this game start to improve vastly.

Ali. trent konate vvd gomez.
Jones endo mac. Salah nunez gakpo.
I'd go with that 2nite. Robbo I think will need to step out considering we play again sat morning and he played quite a bit recently. I hope gakpo stays in has looked decent of late. Jota being out is a hammer blow.

If Slot were to come in are there any Feyenoord players we’d like to see come with him? Geertrudia would tick a lot of boxes one of the Ed’s mentioned him before. Wieffer, Hancko and Timber all well thought of.

Maybe I've missed something but why isn't Hansi Flick considered? Bayern played some incredible football under him and won the treble. Yes, it didn't work out with the german national team, but I guess managing a club is totaly different to a national team.

It feels a bit like there are no really obvious candidates for a new manager. Not just from a Liverpool perspective, but if any other big club was looking for a new manager.

Even Alonso - despite his sensational season in Germany - is very early in his managerial career with limited experience.

Big names of a few years ago like Pochettino and Tuchel seem to have suffered damage to their reputations. Mourinho is yesterday's man. The wave of English players ending their playing careers and moving into management has slowed down (and none of them have had success) .

I know it's very data and analytics driven these days and that's different to the traditional approach of getting the biggest name with the best track record but there just doesn't seem to be so many all-time-great/ legend type of managers out there anymore. Maybe Ancelloti is the last of that generation still standing.

Zidane is out there. His track record is incredible because of those consecutive European Cup wins but I feel like it's hard to really judge him.

Klopp and Guardiola are the big silver-back gorillas of the last decade. Obviously neither is an option.

Who else is out there? I still rate Tuchel actually. There was a time when I saw him as a possible Klopp successor.
