I work with 2 spurs fans and a city fan. These next few weeks could be amazing for me or end in absolute torture.

I didn't realise how tall grujic is. Same height as klopp in his pictures. Bit of height won't do our team any harm.

Cannot wait for tomorrow!

Win, lose or draw I am proud of the boys!

Lets support the team no matter what as we know they will be giving their all.

To those of you lucky enough to be in Kiev make sure your support is loud and do us boys proud. Drown out the Real Madrid prawn sandwich brigade and make it seem like a match on Merseyside.

Your support can help bring old big ears home!

As long as we don't lose our next two games then we will find ourselves in the champions league final and qualified for next years tournament!

A huge week for the club!

On that note I am hoping for two non eventful incredibly boring 0-0 draws.

Bring it on!

For me people wanted to avoid Roma for 2 reasons, first of all their style of play is not the easiest for us to deal with, we knew that Bayern or Real would attack for which we could set up for the counter.

However the second is phycological reasons. We thrive at being the underdog.
Through the entire contest it has been 'the aim is to get out the group' which meant Porto was a free swing.
After we beat them we drew City, again leaving us in a 'nothing to lose situation'. We have not had the pressure of expectancy throughout the competition.

But now we find ourselves in a position of favourites for the tie, and this sits uncomfortably with some of us.
However what I would like to point out is the team have earned this 'Tag'. We want our team to be the best and with this comes the weight of expectancy.
This is a hurdle the team now have to overcome and I am confident they will.

Bring on Roma and Bring on the 26th of MAY!

Good Morning Redmen,

Hope you are all well and slowly recovering from the disappointment of the weekend.

Don't worry Carra is not here to spit at you, I am just going to provide the loan update :)

Harry Wilson started his first game since his injury lay off and the boy delivered with a MOTM performance.
Hull beat Norwich in a topsy Turvy 4-3 thriller with Wilson providing the assist for the opening goal.
Hull then found themselves 3-1 down but fought back to win with Wilson curling home the late winner!

It was a great week for Grujic last week scoring his first senior goal in their mid week win over Barnsley.
Cardiff's good form continued at the weekend beating Birmingham 3-2 with Grujic playing the full 90 in defensive mid.
Since Grujic joined Cardiff in has been 7 wins and 2 draws in the 9 games that he has featured.

Andy Firth made his first appearances for Chester last week, also his first matches at senior level.
Although it was a week to forget for Chester with back to back 2-0 defeats it was personally a week to remember for Firth.

There was a real shock in the Eredivisie at the weekend as relegation battling Willem II thrashed league leaders PSV 5-0!
Chirivella was at the heart of the win playing the full 90 in centre mid.

It was however a week to forget for Origi who was subbed before half time in Wolfsburgs 3-0 defeat to Hoffeinheim. Origi was not injured so you can only conclude he was having a shocker.

New Boy Arroyo's loan to Mallorca B is continuing to be a success as they beat Petra 3-0.
This is now 6 games unbeaten and a clean sheet in each of the last 4 games.

Flannaghan played twice last week for Bolton with both games finishing as 1-1 draws.
Both goals conceded unfortunately have a similar pattern. Flannaghan was beat for pace on the wing and the resulting crosses were converted.

Ojo made his first start since January for Fulham in their midweek win over Sheffield Utd. He was a late sub in their 2-1 over Preston at the weekend.

Ejaria has found himself at the wrong end of the championship and despite some spirited displays at the turn of the year things are now starting to look bleak for Sunderland.
Back to back defeats last week leave them rock bottom of the championship.
Ejaria however played the full 90 in both and is getting plenty of game time.

After a bright start to life at Bristol Ryan Kent has found himself on the subs bench in recent weeks.
Kent was again a sub at the weekend coming on for a late run out as they lost 2-1 to Preston.

Randall played the full 90 at RB as Hearts lost 2-0 in the Edinburgh derby to Hibs.

It was a hard week for Corey Whelan and Yeovil as they first lost 1-0 in the Semi final of the Football league trophy to Shrewsbury.
At the weekend they lost 2-0 to Newport County.

Keita grabbed himself an impressive assist in RBL's midweek Europa win over Zenit for which they won 2-1.
He also featured in a 0-0 draw at the weekend which has been described as a 'drab' affair.

Sturridge is still injured
Markovic was left out the squad
Allan was suspended

And that's your lot redmen

8 games left of the prem season, 16 points needed to reach the magic 76.
No team has ever reached 76 points and not finished in the top 4 for those that did not know.
4 wins, 4 draws, easy stuff. I expect us to do better than that anyway.

Morning Redmen,

Well that was an eventful weekend!
As disappointing as it is, let's try not to go OTT, we are 3rd in the league, went unbeaten in 15. And deserved to win the game! I always say I would rather lose a game we deserve to win then to just get battered. The players will be frustrated and hopefully Klopp will make them learn from this and be stronger for it.

Anyways, enough of my rambling, heres the weekend loan update

Awoniyi appears to of lost his place in the NEC starting 11 as for the 3rd week in a row he starts on the bench.
Awoniyi was introduced to the game in the 80th min with his team losing 1-0 to Hercules. His appearance did not have the desired effect as it became 2-0 just 1 minute later.

Flannaghan made his 2nd start in a row for Burnley but Opta stats say his showing wasn't to impressive.
Burnley lost 2-0 to Stoke as their woeful away form continues.

Hertha Berlin won a thriller away to Wolfsburg winning 3-2 thanks to a 90th Minute Pen.
Allan entered the game in the 80th min when the game was 2-2.

Hudderfields freefall down the Championship table continues following a 1-1 draw with Blackburn. Danny Ward played the full 90.

Ryan Fulton had a bad bad day at the office as Chesterfield lost 5-0 to Wycombe Wanderers.

Wisdom came into the starting 11 last week, they lost, and so this week he finds himself back on the bench.
He watched on from his favourite spot as Salzburg won 4-1.

Sporting Lisbon Moved into second following a 2-0 win over Vitoria.
Markovic got himself a nice 3minute run out at the end

And there's your lot redmen :)
