Thought you guys and girls might find this amusing. An ex pro called Ken Goodeve plays at my local golf club. a friend of mine told me a story about him the other day. kens son was in London a few years back and saw George best in a bar. he went over to him and said "George can I buy you a drink? "to which George obviously replied "of course".

Before the barman could come over the lad said"George do you remember a player at United called Ken Goodeve? "

George replied"yes I remember him, poorest footballer I played with, absolutely useless, how he was a pro I do not know, why you even asking about him? "
Lad says" he's my dad"
George says, "ok, am I still getting my drink? ".

Surely with gnabry (possible spelling error) going to Bayern (arsenal made a big booby there) Douglas costa must be readily available at decent price. if u believe the hype 22 mill would get him then he must be on our list of possibles please.

I know this has been done to death but I really wish klopp would give sakho another chance. i think a pairing of him and matip would be immense. they would compliment each other massively. if not give ilori a chance. i think both are a step above lovren.

Great performance last night and good to see studge back in the goals. this is the first time as a lfc fan for a good while that we have so many talented players in almost every position. to read the comments regarding who should play where is actually a credit to klopp, the team and of course the owners and academy. may we kick on from here and continue the good work. i for one am the most optimistic and excited towards our prospects as I can be.

Football transfers sure are crazy. it seems like zellinski was our first choice but we wouldn't pay what udinese wanted, an now we may be baying nearly double to Newcastle for DW. i know we only should pay what we think a player is worth but surely if we preferred zellinski then offer the couple of million (I think it was that amount) extra rather than switching targets and going for a so called less quality player at more money.
