Firmino still not starting for Brazil. It really annoys me as Gabriel Jesus hasn't even had a shot on target in 350+ minutes while Firmino has been directly involved in 2 goals in 37 minutes. Jesus might be Neymar's buddy but surely you pick the team at this stage based on merit rather than who Neymar likes best.

I see he tried to justify what he said earlier, but didn't help his cause in the slightest.

I'm gutted, absolutely gutted lads. Not our best performance by a long shot but we've done amazing to get here and some of the memories along the way this year have been amazing. Real Madrid played well, best I've seen them play all year (every other time they've been very poor) and they deserved that on the night. We can all think about what could have been if we had Salah as that seemed like a turning point in the game. However we've got a lot to build on and the club is moving in the right direction. We'll be back here next year and we'll win it.

The fitter you are, the less likely you are to pick up an injury. So in my opinion, our pre season sessions are perfect to set us up for the coming season.
