When you re a little down after the weekend's result and you see Allison, Jota, Trent and Bajcetic returning to training.

Just the little boost I needed to put the fire back in the belly.

I ve felt I was being a little chicken as a fan the last few weeks going in scared into every game. What if we slip up.

Well screw that. Time to win this thing. And the Europa cup. We'll win it all.

Arsenal will draw one of their tough games.

But I do believe we will need to win all our remaining 7 games.

That point was so important to stay ahead of City who I think have a good chance of winning all their remaining games.

So simply put, I've cleaned the train, serviced it, filled my ticket gun thingy, filled the snacks bar, got a liquor licence for those that enjoy that sort of thing, and am going to pull into every darn station a Liverpool fan resides.

7 games to go till we win the league!

All Aboard!

PS. We all know how Klopps last game is going to go anyway.

Drury:
Clock goes into injury time here.
They needed to just win to get the league but it looks like they'll just manage the draw.
City heading for an unprecedented 4 in a row.

Gary Neville chimes in. City are a machine. Simply unstoppable. In another era this Liverpool team could have won more trop.

Lost control of the midfield when we subbed the tenacious and again superb Jones for that lemon Gravenberch.

I'm not giving him any more time. He is absolutely detrimental to the press and the way we play. Sell him in January to the highest bidder. Completely useless.

I know the forwards were off there game again but the harried and caused problems. I think they'll all come back to form eventually.

Big pity about Tsimikas as he was really finding his best form.

The biggest thing from this game is we now surely nailed our best midfield. Endo, Jones and Szobozlai were brilliant.

As was the defence for most part.

We should have just keep Jones on. Are tiring Jones is still a hundred times more energetic than the lemon.

And before giving me grief again for picking on this guy, go rewatch the game and see the press instantly disappear from the time Jones went on and he came on. The guy needs to play for someone else because he is not a Klopp player.

Ranking my top 5 DM targets. I'm considering Chelsea have won the race for Lavia who would have been on the list. Think he has huge potential. Also I think Alvarez would have featured. Good pickup by west ham there. Just my opinion of course and mostly posting for some fun. Be interested also in others lists.

1. Youssef Fofana
Been banging his drum for a long time now. This guy has international experience. A single pivot six needs athleticism and this guy is a beast. Strong and fast. Excellent on the ball and an excellent tackler and defensive side. Slight downside is he likes to get involved in everything. I'm hoping he will be disciplined enough to hold the centre and ensure the back four are protected against counter attacks. I'm guessing he can. French players do well in the prem and this guy will likely be more affordable than others to leave funds for other areas. For me a lock at one.

2. Tchoumeni - probably the only player on this list who I rate higher than Fofana in terms of ability but not by a massive amount. Much more expensive option though. Will I be happy if we pulled it off. Yes ecstatic. But I'd easily take Fofana and Ignacio over Tchoumeni on his own. Wouldn't even be a discussion in my mind.

3. Dacoure - he ll cost a bit I'm sure and Crystal Palace will not be oblivious to recent events when they consider values. However prem experience is invaluable. He is a defensive machine. Decent on the ball without setting the world slight but he would be an incredible insurance policy for our defence when attacks break down. Great positionally too. I'd be very excited about him.

4. Florentino Luis - won't lie. A little drop down from the clear top three in my mind. Luis is quickish but not as quick as above. That's maybe the only real concern for me particularly as a single pivot. Having said that he has almost everything else. I like his positional sense and also he's general like running of midfield. Little bit risky as we play quite different to Benfica where they always play a two. I watched a few games of his and he impressed me a lot. I just worry how he will deal with the space we can leave when we press. He is a very intelligent player though. I think that will make up for it. Would also prefer if he was a little cheaper. makes number 4 on my list.

5. Andre Trindade - with no experience outside Brazil, it's high risk but that's reflected in the price. First player on the list I haven't seen play outside of the many match highlights on YouTube. I just really like the looks of things I see. Like constantly chasing back to get tackles in. Perhaps winging it a bit putting him so high without have seen him play properly but I just like what I see and it's my list so there.
He looks good on the ball too and comes across as a leader. Looks like a terrier and fiery.

The ones I'm hoping we don't go for:

Adams - injuries. Plain and simple. Nothing against him playing wise.

Sangare - looks clumsy to me and I prefer my DMs protecting the back four than scoring screamers. second player on the list I admit I haven't seen play outside YouTube but still a hard no.

Phillips - I'm screaming no.

I'm sure I'm forgetting loads of players so please post your top 5s. Would be really interested to see what people are thinking.

I haven't forgotten Zubamendi. He would probably be six on my list.

Woeful. Our ability to work it through the lines is absolutely horrendous right now.

Our attack shape seems to be 3-2-0-5

It plays around the back for a donkeys age until there's a long pass on. Nobody is getting on it in the half space in front of goal when there's a break on. Salah and Nunez are so far off it. I've been a huge fan of Nunez but he has been absolutely woeful since the international break.

We are actually bad to watch at the moment. I find myself getting bored during games.

That's realistically the prem gone. Still a possibility of course but realistically given the competition that's game over.

I see a lot more possiblity of coming back in the Europa league. And that's what I'm hoping on now.

Hopefully Gakpo starts. He looks really sharp.

Alisson
Trent Konate Van Dijk Robertson
Mac Allaister
Szobozlai Jones
Diaz Jota Gakpo

I'd go with that against Atalanta.

Sickening game with absolutely awful mistakes costing us.

Fair play to Quansah for putting on a string performance after a horrendous mistake. Shows his mettle that he will be a top player but can't lie, I do wish Klopp went with the experience of Konate today. He'll learn and be better for it in the long run but that was seriously costly today.

You can also look a Nunez and that guilt edge chance and Salah is off it at the moment. So it's not just him.

United are our boogie team this season.

There's a long way to go so we are still in it but it will be tough. I think we are playing the worst of the three at the wrong time of the season. Really hoping we can get Jota back ASAP and hopefully he is on the form before he got injured. Trent and Alisson too. We need our top players now as I have absolutely no doubt, the only way we win the league is winning every game between now and the end.

Sickened today. Feels like a Gerrard slip moment today with Quansah.

Good lesson to everyone who speaks about goal difference or looks at every game between now and the end working out where we can trip up.

We can trip up everywhere and any game.

We have 8 cup finals to go and every last one of them will be tough going. One game at a time.

Could have and should have finished them off. After playing Thursday I just think the players didn't have the 120 minutes in the legs.

You take what you can in football. Never nice to go out of a cup, especially to United but let's see if the slightly lighter schedule will help us. You never quite know.

Goals, Assists, No Injuries, Can run in behind, come short, drags defenders to him. His mere presence on the pitch is the ultimate leadership everyone because they know they play with THAT guy. What a player.
