Reading that Costa has been offered a deal by a top six side. Now I know it won't be us. But as it will be a team competing for European places against us do you have any idea who it may be. All it said was top 6. I don't know if that implies as the table stands or traditional top 6. I guess a case could be argued for Chelsea, Leicester, Spurs all needing a striker or even City with Aguero out.
Be very happy if we get 1 more centre back along with Davies. And would like to see Origi moved on as much for himself. The more he plays the more he diminishes his reputation and he should be remembered for what he did for us in the CL more than what he is unable to do for us week in week out.

With Barcelona offering cash plus 2 players to PSG for Neymar. If PSG were to refuse it would Barcelona look to offload players at a cheaper price like Dembele/ Coutinho (2 been linked with Liverpool even if rubbish) or Suarez/ Rakitic (due to age. Appreciate its not directly Liverpool related but my thinking was that if Barcelona were to get Neymar do you think that would put more pressure on Madrid to get someone like Salah or Mane?

With Greizmann now staying at Atletico who do you feel Barcelona will look for as a marquee signing? I appreciate we won't want to sell either but there have been rumours about Salah and last year in Spain it was claimed there was interest in Mane. So do you think they could look to either of these. Or do you think they will be more inclined to stick with Dembele and look for someone like Erikson to replace Iniesta. Sorry it's kind of Barcelona related just fee it could effect us, Greizmann staying at Atletico.

Away from transfers is there any news on when we are going to increase the other stand to make the 61,000 capacity. Would be great for the extra match day revenue and for the atmosphere.

We know the players that have been released but beyond them are there many players you see leaving? Kelleher, matip, carvalho. And of the players released there has been a lot of talk about Milner to Brighton and good luck to him, also feel Bobby would fit in well there. Has there been any clubs interested in Ox or Keita?

Now I don't expect either Henderson or VVD to leave this summer, but sounds like Milner will. Who do you think will be the starting captain for i us next season. If we get 2 new midfielders Henderson will start less and less so then I would presume VVD. But with his performances quickly declining and he's not getting any younger who is the next LFC captain. Trent? Robertson for me could make a decent captain (even if his performances have also left a lot to be desired) I just feel he will be more vocal than Trent.

Another weekend of absolutely shambolic decisions from the officials. Arsenal and Chelsea both robbed by completely awful decisions. Brighton's offside they draw the line on the wrong player, the wolves second yellow? Now the premier league is the richest league in the world with some of the worst officials I've ever seen at the moment. Surely something needs to be done here, as it doesn't seem to matter how poor they are they keep their jobs.

Lots of reports that Dybala is unhappy with Juventus and their contract offers. If he was available on a pre contract surely he would be a great acquisition.

First of all congratulations to Chelsea second half they were by far the better team. The young lad had a great game as did Giroud and Willian whilst he was on always looked dangerous.

As for Liverpool. First half was fairly even but it was clear to see where the changes needed to be made. Then after the first 5 minutes of the second half nothing changed. But Klopp decided to ignore it until it was too late. Unfortunately except for 1 pass to Mane Minamino just looked like he had no idea what was going on. Origi was awful his touch and decision making.

And Lallana maybe had a decent 10 minutes in the first half but otherwise he was completely over run in midfield his persistent turning with the ball cost us possession countless times. Fabinho wasnt great but he obviously had far more responsibility than normal with Lallana next to him and origi and minamino not providing the defensive cover in front of him that Salah and Firmino do so well.

We were short of ideas second half nobody willing to take a shot on.
By the time Klopp made the changes it was too late and why he took Jones off who had been our best midfielder left me scratching my head. I understand Klopp changing the team for this game even though I would rather have seen it stronger. But if you have the players on the bench you have to use them.

The ironic thing is that since the winter break which Klopp wanted so badly we have been terrible. Lucky against Norwich and west ham. No goal in our 3 defeats. Need a big win against Bournemouth now to get some confidence in before Atletico otherwise with the league essentially in the bag our season could be over by next week and well wishing we had the FA Cup to play for.
