First pochettino said he wanted real to beat us because we are their main rivals, now gary neville says he wants us to lose so united fans including himself don't endure a season of hell as he put it.

My question is, if the shoe was on the other foot would you root for spurs or united purely because they are english or would you hope they got stuffed by real?

I have to say I am really gutted we won't be seeing Brewster this season, he was on schedule but he must have had a setback. He has a lot of potential but I worry he may not recover the confidence after this long layoff and setback.

With Sturridge seemingly seeing out time and origi being a big drop off to fill in for the front 3, Brewster.

I have seen comments regarding not wanting to face roma now etc. my thoughts are if you win the champions league you are the best team in the comp. So it doesn't matter who we face, if we are good enough we will win and we have to give this team credit. To get to the semi final is no mean feat and this is a very good team.

I won't make any predictions as im becoming superstitious in my old age.

So keita is happy where he is and sessegnon prefers Tottenham. Haha let's hope we have better luck with our other targets. What if we were going for world class players, we would be screwed lol.

Will sturridge be sold at the end of the season? I think he will, the way i see it he is now second choice behind a makeshift striker firmino. He no longer makes runs behind opposition defences and hos goals return is diminishing year on year. He will never again be a 20 goal a season striker and do hos wages justify having him sit on the bench an score 8 goals a season.

Undoubtedly he has finishing still in his locker but is that enough. Towards the close of the southampton game there was a chance for him to chase a ball to keep it in play and keep us possession, he didn't even try and only moved when he realised it wasnt going out of play by which time it was too late and southampton won the ball back. When you are chasing a game that is not the right attitude to have.

I fear he is fast running out of chances and i am not convinced klopp will continue giving them to him.
