I think what hurts me the most about the Fekir deal is the fact that he was literally a Liverpool player - then he wasn't. I mean he'd already done the lean! Its like you're really hungry and someone serves you up your favorite dish, and you've soaked in the flavors already salivating, and right as you're about to dig in, they pull it away from you.
Anyways, no matter what happens, the squads already in a fantastic place. If Klopp truly meant no further signings are coming in then so be it. But this is a guy who named Danny Ward our new no 1 literally hours before agreeing a world record fee for Alisson so I'd take things at face value. Might not be Fekir coming in in the end (though a little part of me is still hopeful) but I think there could be one more in at that position.

Getting 4 new midfielders makes sense. Ox is out till November. Coutinho and Can have left. Lallana is crocked. Milner is 32. So you could argue that Fabinho replaces Can, Keita replaces Ox and Fekir replaces Coutinho (he can play both LW and CAM) . Then you got to look at cover. Gini, Milner and Henderson had great seasons in their own rights and I suspect they'll all have big parts to play again next season with rotation especially during christmas and cup games.

Then you look at the quality behind Mane Salah and Firmino. Its dreadful. No offence to Solanke and Ings. Sturridge and Origi won't be coming back so we'll need cover there. We all saw what happened when Lallana replaced Salah. No fault of his as he wasnt fit but he got no pace either. This is where someone like Dembele/ Vazquez/ speedy winger comes in.

Basically its about building a squad now. Klopp has done fantastically well with what he's had to work with but he clearly needs better quality on the bench/ to rotate with. Fekir, Fabinho, Keita, Alisson and Dembele would be the perfect summer in my opinion. Quality additions that could all be starters.

Anyone know how many players one club is allowed to loan out to another? Really wouldn't mind if we loan out a good chunk of our promising youngsters who aren't getting game time to Rangers. Theyd be working with Gerrard and that can only be a good thing. Chelsea seem to have been doing this with Vitesse for a while now so I'd like to see Woodburn, Ejaria, Grujic, Wilson etc go to Rangers if they're not in Klopps immediate plans for the upcoming season.

Liverpool and Manchester City are in talks over the possibility of signing Radamel Falcao. This is NOT my rumor btw. Its a story from a journalist on twiter - who is apparently very respected. doesn't seem like a move we'd go for but I personally couldn't think of anyone better on the market atm.

Heard Swansea have ditched Bonys release clause of 19m in order to get more offers in for the player. Do you think we'll go after him now? And if so how do you guys rate this signing? Could we do better or has he proven he has enough to make it at a top 4 side.

{Special Guest ben - He would certainly offer something different up front for us. Expensive for someone coming off the bench though, unless BR is going tweak his formation to accommodate him...]
