Wow I totally missed the fact that Rhys Williams had joined Kidderminster Harriers on loan until January. Playing in the national league north should toughen him up a bit, and John Pemberton seems like a good coach. Good luck Rhys!

Big shout out to Caoimhin Kelleher who played the 3rd third vs Blackburn and certainly did nothing wrong. Got plenty of touches and passed confidently, i only saw a single stray pass. Seems like between him and Grabara we don't really need another elder keeper. With Karius taking turns with those two boys we'd be fine for backup.

Just read Milner is to be offered a 1 year extension and Matip will get a new contract. Both are good news imo.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been playing for Liverpool's Under-23s against Derby. He was expected to play for the first half but was taken off four minutes before the break. Carl Markham, the Press Association reporter at Derby's training ground, says "he was maybe holding his right hamstring".

Interesting stuff from Salah's agent about the Kadyrov affair. I do believe that Salah got carted around like a show pony and was too polite to make a fuss, and yeah I probably wouldn't want to upset Kadyrov either. The Egyptian FA's choice of Grozny as their base just reeks of corruption. It's more than two thousand kilometers from both of the venues for their first two games, so there was no good reason to stay there and every reason not to. I'll feel sorry for him if he quits Egypt, but obviously it'd have benefits for Liverpool.

If Klopp is giving Kent a chance, does that necessarily mean that he rates him above Wilson or even Ojo? Or is it simply that Wilson and Ojo need a season playing regularly on loan, while Kent already had that and so it is now or never for him?

Really hopeful he's ready now. looking forward to watching him bang a few in against Dortmund, Sporting and Sevilla and forgetting all about Sturridge who I loved once upon a time. Give him the Number 15 and the ball and Rhian will score. :)

They're playing regularly in one of the best teams in the world if not the best atm. I'd be pretty bloody happy. And where would they go? We beat Bayern and Barcelona and Real are a shambles atm. The best thing we can do is keep this squad together. City could lose up to 6 players and personally (depending how well thy manage to replace them or not) that what gives me (foolish) hope that they will not be as strong next season, while we will be.

He played on the left sometimes for Bayern. And in the centre for both Bayern and Stoke.
