I was laughed down when I said I fancied spurs to finish second this season. Its not looking so unlikely now. I genuinely think they're the danger, them and Chelsea. I have z feeling Everton fans started celebrating too soon, all these bits on football focus saying how nice to finally have a top team.

Apart from eating spurs aznd drawing with us they had an easy run. They will struggle to keep up with the top teams now. At least they don't have to worfy about relegation. Perhaps.

All in all a very satisfying weekend of footy. We have some tests coming up though, I don't know if we still top the league in a months time.

It's my birthday today. Spur win was the best present. Never been so far ahead at this time of year. Making it one of my better birdays as a 80 something. Now very soon, in as year, my life will start. Mot holding my breath.

Probably difficult to answer, but was wondering what platers that we narrowly missed out on do people most regret not happening?

I heard somewhere that we were after Alan shearer and he was up for joining. I can't help but think he could have made the difference in those years when we had a great team but fell short under utds dominance. We were blessed with great strikers, but shearer was absolutely world class. One of the very best ever to play up front. I think as he's from this country we maybe underrated him or have taken him for granted. Usually the other way round, granted, he tops pretty much every list in pl goalscoring.

Chris wilder= overrated?

I've said a few times I don't like the way he's axlways giving his players az hard time, even ehen they won but likes t o bask in the adoration of the media.

I'm sure his tactics are fine but he's the type of guy I'd hate to play for.

Looking like a one season wonder now though.

I think the fact we are having to utilise the whole squad is the reason for the below par performances of late. I'm not complaining, we are winning so that's fine. The last couple of seasons you could probably pick the team on a Friday, usually went with the strongest 11.now we don't know wshos going to play asnd in what formation.

All this team needs is a bit of momentum. Not constant slating of our star players. Everyone loves klopp but moans about the players he picks. To all those moaners, what do you think Jurgen would say to you after reading all you criticism?
