With one eye on Roma, it was always going to be a watch through the fingers game.
Had the game under control until complacency crept in.
2nd goal was Gomez fault. Very lazy pass put us in trouble.
Moreno kept getting caught out of position and wrong side.
Overall though a decent performance with players not pushing themselves to much. 8 points clear of Chelsea for top 4 spot.
Bring on Roma.

Disappointed with recent result/ form but i am a believer and remember what Klopp said when he first joined.
"We will win the league within 4 years".
He has been at Liverpool just over 1 year. It seems like a project and building process and hopefully his wish will be granted.
Time and patience my friends.

Just a thought that when it was going wrong or players fell out with the previous manager it was deemed that they had been Brendaned. If the same things happens with with the new manager will they have been Klopped?
{Ed001's Note - surely it would be Jurgened?}

Just to put my thoughts on what has happened.
Other teams up there challenging have bought quality not quantity.
I said way back that we needed 3 or 4 players to make a difference then bring on the youth.
But adding 11 new players is going to cause disruption and i have thought all along it was the wrong decision.
Other teams have worked us out on how we play, so now we need to change the way we do things.
Being Brendaned (as Ed002 has politely put it) has put us back to where we was, a mid table team.
Something needs to change and fast.

Ezequiel Lavezzi linked with Liverpool transfer
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi following the collapse of a deal that would have seen Loic Remy arrive from Queens Park Rangers.
Any potential deal for Lavezzi would hinge on PSG's supposed interest in Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria, with the Ligue 1 club required to sell before they can buy again.
FFP sanctions placed upon the club have restricted PSG to a €60 million net spend during this transfer window, and the acquisition of David Luiz from Chelsea has ensured that this mark has already been reached.
If PSG are now to move for Di Maria then they must conduct something of a firesale, with Edinson Cavani and Lavezzi seemingly the most sellable assets. The latter could reportedly cost Liverpool around £18 million.
