Probably in dreamland but a part of me hopes we get Pereira, Van Dijk, Mendy, Keita, Brandt and Aubameyang this summer. Perhaps John Henry will find a couple of hundred million in his sofa, best hope of that is if Bill Gates comes round for tea or the equivalent of that in America.

After Bernardo Silva's move to City, Sterling's future at the Etihad must surely be in doubt. He's likely to take up the Navas utility player role and with City struggling to fit all their attackers in one team I wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle for game-time this season unless he is stuck at right back; Jesus, Aguero, Bernardo Silva and Sane are all superior players to him and are surely ahead of him in the pecking order.

Some may mention the word 'karma' but I would mention the words 'poor decision', 'greed' and 'bad agent'. Sterling hasn't blown his career but what looked like a career destined for the top of the game when he was a key player for us at 20 now looks likely to fizzle out at the good player level. That is without taking into account the very real possibility of Pep usually him as a makeshift right back which would stunt him even more. I don't feel sorry for him neither am I celebrating what has become of his career but what I am doing is shrugging my shoulders and thinking to myself you made your bed now lie in it, not because he left Liverpool but because of the reasons he left us for, in life and also in football, you live and die by your decisions. I also hope that this serves as a warning to other talented youngsters who have their eyes on the money rather than maximizing their potential, Rodwell, Shaw, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Wright-Phillips and potentially Barkley are other names that come to mind who have and could fail to maximize their potential.

Steven Gerrard is the greatest ever Liverpool player that I've watched in my lifetime, perhaps even the greatest ever Liverpool player. He is Mr Liverpool, captain fantastic, one of our very own, the man for the big occasions. For so many years He put our team on his back and carried us to success, I mean how many players cam say they captained a side with Djimi Traore in it to champions league success!? What He has achieved in football is highlighted by the sheer number of personal accolades he has in football: 3 FIFA World team of the year appearances; 8 PFA Team of the Year appearances and 1 PFA player of the year award.

Then there's all the football legends congratulating him on his illustrious career and wonderful ability that he showed on the pitch; Kaka, Lampard, Henry, Matthaus, the list is endless; Fergie even said He was more complete than Vieira. Gerrard has dug us out of many holes and worn the captain's armband longer than any other, he's also created so many iconic moments. There's the FA Cup Final of 2006 brace, his Champions league final header and who can forget that special, "Oh ya Beauty" goal? Gerrard has done so much for the club and the brand of Liverpool, many youngsters have become fans because of him.

Gerrard is larger than life, he is more than a footballer, his name is synonymous with goals in big games, belters from all angles and all distances, success, greatness, loyalty, light at the end of a dark tunnel (I remember him scoring a late free kick vs Villa away in particular when we couldn't seem to get through) . I can't for the life of me see why some want to chip away at his legacy on here. I personally don't care what Gerrard was like behind the scenes, he did the business on the pitch and that's what matters. This reminds me of a simpsons episode when Lisa found out Jebediah Springfield was actually a murderous pirate and wanted to expose it at all costs, not realizing she was not just undoing a man but also the pride and hope that he represented. I am not calling your liars but Gerrard has done so much for the club, so let's focus on the plenty of good he did rather than the couple of negatives.

Adam Lallana is currently bettering his Southampton team of the season form and it is testament to the work he's put in plus his willingness to learn. He's always been a player in a Liverpool shirt up until this season that you felt had the tools to succeed but for some reason couldn't utilise them. He is blessed with wonderful technique, balance, agility and dribbling ability and he can easily weave between 2 or 3 players at a go when on song, not to mention him being two footed which is always a bonus as it makes you very unpredictable. There was a reason pundits were fawning over him and saying he wouldn't look out of place in the Spanish side when he got into the team of the season, he certainly always had the ability. This season has seen Lallana pass the ball more quickly into the front 3, look up to find the right pass instead of running down blind alleys and better utilise his wonderful ability. He is even getting into the box for goalscoring opportunities with regularity now, which if you recall was something he threatened to do last pre-season but couldn't carry it into the season. He has definitely been one of our most important players, he is also key to initiating our press too and is even performing for England. Long may it continue.

What's all this talk about Coutinho leaving, from what I know the window ended on the 1st of September. The way some people are going on about it, you'd think that a secret window had just been opened by FIFA - mind you, FIFA opening a transfer window just for Barcelona to buy Coutinho would do them no favours given the talk of officials favouring Barca. Coutinho is still a Liverpool player up until at least the summer, until then he will continue to shine for us. Football is in a state of constant flux and a lot could change before the summer, we could win the league and then he could sign a contract extension. From my understanding, Coutinho's issue is the lack of Champions League football, I am certain we will have champions league football or more at the end of the season. We also shouldn't be throwing Coutinho under the bus, he is a great player, has been professional and is playing very well. If he wants to leave we should thank him for what he's done and move on, the beauty of Klopp's system is that you could practically take anyone out of the team without severely weakening us.
