Not entirely related to the match itself, but I thought it was pretty cool that Firmino turned the kit into a turtleneck.

As a result of this lovely transfer window it seems like managing Liverpool on Fifa 19 won’t be as much fun. This, because the squad looks crazy nice. I truly don’t know who I’d buy, haha. Investing in a backup right back doesn’t sound too stylish.

Morning eds and reds
This might seem like a strange one, but what happened to the good ol' 4-4-2 formation?
I am referring to the use of wide midfielders more so than the classic winger. I am aware we now have mane and now salah who are likely to make the wide offensive positions their own, however I wonder how our team would do if we lined up with somewhat more defensive minded players out wide.
A central midfield consisting of coutinho on the left, Can and wijnaldum centrally and Henderson on the right hand side seems to me to be a very comfortable outing in the middle of the park.
I know the eds repeatedly have said formations don't really matter, so I guess it's rather a thought on why the wide players on the field (more often than not) will be focusing on their offensive duties.
I am currently waiting on my flight from Napoli (which have been delayed) so I thought I'd just rant on for a while.

In the current squad I think wijnaldum is underrated. Excited to see if he can build on his first season with us.
{Ed042's Note - He did start out kind of slowly but I think he was one of our better players in the second half of the season }
