Coutinho would prefer to stay. He's always been a very genuine guy since his days at inter. He recently said to a friend of mine that champs league is not a requirement for him staying and while Barcelona interest is flattering he's happy where he is for now.

I can't see him leaving unless Barcelona stump up the ridiculous asking price and the club decide to sell.

Also in other news I wouldn't count on James going to United as he has stated he does not think their style of football will suit him at all and is not keen on being rotated.

Like 99% of players Coutinho is not likely to compromise his position at the club.

I don't see him leaving for Barcelona until Barcelona show an interest, which according to Guillem Balague, they don't.

Champions League may not be a requirement for him because Liverpool are on the verge of CL football. Fail to achieve it today and it will soon become an issue and everyone will know about it.
