Who thought a few months ago that we'd want City to beat (or at least get a result) against Leicester with less than half the season gone?!

Proof Klopp is a great coach and Mourinho is spent (if you need it! )

Wini, Robbi and Shaq all bought from relegated teams. Pogba World Cup winner.

Currently on holiday in a town called Javea in Spain. On the beach this morning minding my own business when none other than towering ex Watford centre forward Ross Jenkins sat near me having paid for one of those fancy sun beds with the grass umbrellas that only rich people hire. Ross played in the same team as John Barnes in the 80s and are still great mates. So I couldn't help but over hear Ross saying that John told him at a BBQ the night before at lifelong friends who live nearby in a town called Denia that "Liverpool fans can expect at least one more signing before the summer transfer window shuts in 2019."

Full on knee jerk 20 minute World Cup cameo.

Loftus-Cheek anyone? 😄.

West Brom, Stoke and Chelsea results were all either side of hard fought CL matches and our lack of quality to rotate due to injuries and personnel was why. We look knackered yesterday both physically and mentally - barely being able to put simple passes together.

This will be the first prem game in ages where we have a full weeks rest and I bet you will see the usual us in last game against Brighton. It will start a little nervy so need fans to be patient but once we score all will be well.

Then more than another full weeks rest before Madrid. We have the first 11 to trouble anyone (ask City! ) so no more injuries and I feel confident we will up our game with this extended rest (like Chelsea had benefit of yesterday) .

Keep the faith fellow reds!

For all those wanting an update in potential Werner purchase. Liverpool have a team who via data analyse good value and a players worth. These are the same people who wanted to renegotiate the Fekir deal and pulled out when their value was not achieved.

Any delay with Werner is going to be based on whether they see value at full price now Covid has hit and all that will mean to Liverpool around overall business costs and whether this changes the value of players in current market.

If they don't get what they see as value they won't do the deal.

I hope due to spread of germs that footballers are now banned form spitting. It's the most disgusting part of the game for me and completely unnecessary.

Here's footballs chance to clean up it's act and provide better examples in front of millions of children who watch the 'beautiful' game.

IMO this is the leagues preferred stance if possible.

The rules each team signs up to are agreed before the start of each season. It is therefore most fair (morally and perhaps more important legally) if this season is completed even if delayed and then agree a new set of rules for next season which again will be fair as they will be agreed by all in advance.

The Bobby debate. My view is that we should see him as a No 10. A creator for others rather than the goal scorer. Let's just all be honest, he's not a natural goal scorer but he is a natural creator of goals.

If we get someone like Werner I don't believe we will score less - the goals will simply be shared around more evenly.

I know if it isn't broke don't fix it however Klopp (a very clever football man) is always looking ahead (see how he changed the way we played successfully this season) so I believe he will sign Werner to give us a new way of playing that other teams will take time to work us out like they have done more recently.

Open for opinions!

Interesting Klopp quote after yesterday "From now on we can play free football again, we don't have to defend to try to get records. "

Am I the only one slightly bored with our play recently? Don't get me wrong I've been delighted with results but it proves we were doing it specifically to go undefeated.

Hopefully now we can play some fun attacking football again!
