With all the talk about our four targets for leftsided fullback and all the talk about Sarr: what might be alternatives to him? Brandt? Don't think anyone outside the club are ITK, but speculaton is always fun.

Yeah, great. So now I have to worry about Spurs too. As if City wasn't enough. Kidding aside, that game on 30/3 will be crucial.

We're doing ok in regards to the homegrown quote rule, right? We had 13 foreign players over 21 this season.

Origi and Grujic are no longer U21 so they will add to the 18 non-homegrown allowed.

Manninger is hanging up the gloves, that gets us to 14.

We could then go on a shopping spree, adding VVD, Salah, Keita and a foreign LB without getting into trouble with the FA, right? Or more moderately valued players.

After that it's sell one to buy one if I'm doing my math properly.

Sorry to break the news to you in this blunt way, but Rags Klavan is not really good enough to be a Liverpool defender.

And wtf is up with this new formation? When you bring in new players and/ or are forced to play people out of position you at least give them a familiar formation in order to have a decent chance of performing well.

And finally, are we going to Stoke expecting to pose some kind of threat by hoofing stuff at them?

This far "Klopp meltdown and injuries stop Liverpool" is my headline.

So what do we make of these William Carvalho rumours? Personally I can't quite believe this. Wrong position, powerful but not that quick.
