Well I've slept on it but I'm still feeling as deflated as I was last night. United fans in my work here not helping matters.

Strangely we played a fantastic first half, Salah had a huge chance and at one point Bajcetic could have played in Darwin but chose the wrong pass. We played with real intensity and created plenty which was great to see. How we didn't score from the goal line scramble I don't know.

Hendo was massively at fault for their first goal and it just unravelled from there. Heads dropped when it went 3-2, the press vanished and they tore us apart. But even then a big penalty shout on Darwin, a deflected goal Allison couldn't have done anything with. these small moments cost us massively.

Bajcetic was guilty of trying a bit too much at times and was caught out badly, but my god that lad is going to be a player. Chin up lads we need a big summer but we'll be back.

Harry Wilson scored and set up another for Hull at the weekend! Have to say he's doing everything right to put himself in line for a squad place next season.

Bit of a moan here I guess, Darwin was magic yesterday and I expect him to be a super player for us for years to come. However, he's been here more than 12 months surely he should be able to speak a bit more English? These guys get paid tons of money and I'm sure have plenty of spare time on their hands he should be expected to speak English to an okay level by now surely?

New season but same old VAR. That penalty decision at the end of the United game was one of the worst I've seen. Scandalous that the VAR don't intervene there.

Awryt lads, game day and I'm buzzing! Wondering who people would play in midfield today?
I'm worried that we lack a bit of leadership in midfield without hendo, fabinho is a beast when he's on his game but at times seems like he can't be arsed. Think I'd like to see milner in there for some experience and leadership. Anybody any other thoughts?

Been a lot of negativity on here over the summer lads, let's remember we are the champions and most everyteam in the world fears playing us. And they will even more after we batter the gunners this afternoon!
