Lots of discussions about Trent which got me thinking. I know we probably need a like for like replacement for Mo (which is probably impossible) but does anyone think Trent could do a job there with Conor behind/ overlapping him? I'd like to try it to see if it could work.

I really liked seeing TAA in a different role last night. I know it raises concerns but what I liked the most is the way it made communicate with his team mates more and get really involved in the game. He did spend a lot of time looking around the pitch for where everyone was and subsequently didn't see the incoming pass but his reactions were good. I do believe he can play in the middle given time and experience and could even be a future captain in the making.
I will put my hard hat on?.

I love Gini and I think he gives us so much. However I think watching this game Nabi would be better suited.

How good was it to see some different style of goals last night. The front three have been amazing over the last few years but some teams have worked out how to nullify their threat to some extent. Then more recently our set piece goals have increased which is great and a good plan B. Last night proved that Origi can add another dimension by utilising the long ball. His control was excellent and held the ball up well. Is this a plan C? which I feel we have lacked.
Well done to Klopp and the team behind him.
YNWA.

Might be me reading too much into things but LFC lose CL final then announce Fabinho shortly after. LFC update on AOC then announce AB signing. PR department working overtime. Seems a strange time to talk about AOC. I think the last time this happened it was Alonso out and Aquilana in if memory serves me right?
