Todays loss was an absolute mess and what was more concerning than the players performance on the pitch was the managers substitutions? Our midfield was getting absolute battered and outbattled but yet Endo sat warming the bench, Robertson was literally falling over from tiredness and Tzimikas stayed on the bench? In truth this game was lost weeks ago when slot refused to rotate our midfield.

Slot would want to spend more time rollicking the players and not the match officials! Absolute disgraceful performance so far from Macca and shock horror Trent all over the place for their goal….

With Chelsea and Arsenal both dropping points today it’s a great little added motivation to go and put Utd to the sword tomorrow!

Hopefully if we get another we can take off Gravenberch, Cody and Mo…no need for Grav picking up a silly yellow and missing the United game when we can bring in Endo or Elliott.

Watching the Burnley v Chelsea game and all I can say is OMG! Chelsea have got a penalty from absolutely nowhere if I was Burnley who are fighting for survival I would be fuming and to compound it further the player got a 2nd yellow for a non tackle! Can’t wait for Webb to come out and explain how this meets the threshold of a penalty…gobsmacked.

The irony of Pep refusing to shake hands with Dean Henderson and berating him at full time while sitting on 115 charges! Great for cup competition this year with Newcastle and Palace wining domestic silverware.

With Konate’s contract situation rumbling on and potential for him to go the same route as Trent do you think the club need to take a hard line with him, sign the contract, move on to whoever ponies up what we want or genuinely put him with the reserves for the year! I really think the club need to make a statement action here, I would 100% support Konate being sent to train with the kids if he hasn’t signed a new contract by season kick off!

Huijsen was always off to Madrid, it’s all he wanted from the off and has made no secret of his desire to one day play for Madrid. I’m more than happy that he goes there directly rather than via Anfield. An exciting young talent but a talent not yet realised none the less. Every year we hear of the next Virgil or Ronaldo and very rarely do these players kick on and reach there hype. At £50m I’d rather look elsewhere and if it’s a player to replace Konate I would certainly be wanting someone with more experience, physicality and games under there belt.

Limping over the line but over the line nonetheless! Thought we dropped off massively today when Bradley and Tzimikas went off. Have to wonder what has happened to Robertson, he is all over the place defensively, so worried about getting caught in behind that he is dropping off way to early and playing everyone onside when the rest of the team are pushing up, it’s starting to look amateurish now. Not even going to get into the own goal?
Midfield in desperate need of a Zubimendi type player, jones did well in there, a little frustrating when he holds onto the ball for too long but we lost all control of midfield once Szob came on and ran around Like a headless enthusiastic chicken.

What are peoples thoughts on Cunha as a striking option, lots are mentioning him as a potential Darwin or Jota replacement but isint he more of a 10 and favours playing from the left if in an attacking 3? Skilful player but could he make the move to 9?
