Away from any conspiracy theories regarding penalties, I honestly believe the standard of refereeing in the premier league is at an all time low.
I would be interested to hear other people's views. I have often heard comments about how refs are abused and threatened at every level from junior football and through to senior levels. I can imagine this must deter many who want to reach the professional game level.

now we have had time to recover from that glorious shambles yesterday I have a question. Just how bad a player is Stephen Caulker if he can't get a place in our team, in which case why was he signed. do you think it might be a blessing that JK has got to get new glasses.

If we just consider the position regarding relegation and promotion it is logically impossible to abandon the season, the ramifications of doing so are impossible.

Only recently it was suggested this JK could suffer burn out. If I was told I wouldn't br required for a fortnight I would use that break to spend time with my family, may be a short holiday. Whose to sayJK hasn't done this and then along come the FA who knew what had been agreed and publicised. Seem to me FA don't like their noses pushed out.

Regarding players injuries seem to be more prevalent now I think players themselves are more aware of consequences of ignoring them. In the old days players were given pain killing injections so they could play and you could take How Tommy Smith ended up as a consequence of this. You may also recall the story of Joe Fagan refusing to let Alan Hansen have injections in his knee because of the danger of permanent damage despite being told to do so.

I think a lot of people under estimate the quality that there is at the top of the league city, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and us LIVERPOOL FC and you know who starting to appear. No team has any god given right to win we just have to do the best we can and us at our best are equal to them all.

This question is loaded I know but just to look at peoples opinions another way, how many premier team number ones are worse than Karius?
