Spurs have certainly made a big statement with the signing of Ndombele. He is by far the best player in his position available this summer - so far.
Only commenting on him here because it seems there will not be much activity from us this window.
Not that we need much anyway.

so we go into Sunday sitting second and facing a team who keep doing what we did last season - finding a way to win.
Unless we start improving our play we will get nothing out of the game. We are almost half way through the league programme, and have won less games than Everton now.
it's probably too late to bring in any new CBs before the weekend, so we will still be severely weakened in terms of personnel, and team formation.
I am thinking that we won't get much out of this season with the situation we find ourselves, but I guess it will still be a fun ride.

seems like Henderson will not play again this season, and could miss the start of the new season.

After the C.L. final John Henry was interviewed and said how gutted he was that we didn't win the league. He then stated that further investment would be made to give us a better chance of the title this coming season.
I don't think buying a 17 year old, and rumours of around £20 million available for transfers would improve our chances very much.
Any thoughts guys?
