Another wasted opportunity. 5 points from Everton, Wolves and Villa - not good enough. I don’t care what anyone says anymore, Darwin Nunez being absolutely terrible cost us this match. He can run around and make space all he wants, he lacks even an ounce of quality in any part of his game and today it caught up with us.
This title race is clearly too much for most of them.

We are unfocused, and it will cost us YET ANOTHER league title. The proof? Conceding from set pieces in a title race is unacceptable, especially from 2nd or 3rd balls - that is nothing more than a lack of focus and desire to defend.
We gave Villa the ball for a full 10 minutes after we scored - absolutely terrible from Slot and this bunch of bottlers.
Some people keep saying “the players have earned our trust”, but I would argue they haven’t, actually. In fact, most of this team have shown time and time again they perform well without pressure and tend to lose when the stakes are high. Bottlers, the lot of them.

We won today but make no mistake, if our performances don’t shape up we’re ending the season empty-handed. Another poor, poor performance from too many players today. Alisson, Robertson, Van Dijk, Trent, Gravenberch, MacAllister and Jota were all dreadful.
Wolves are one of the worst teams in the league and we should be dispatching them comfortably at home, not being given a second-half runaround holding on, desperately winning fouls in the last minute. The players were far too casual again, as is the norm when we play lesser sides at home.
Given how many league titles a lot of them have missed out on by small margins, it beggars belief that they still seem content to just glide and fluke their way through matches as in previous seasons.
As for Jota, he shouldn’t start another match for a while after that dive. It’s not the first time he’s done it, and instead of making it 3-0 and ending the game, he chooses to cheat and nearly cost us it.

Regardless of the highly dubious refereeing on display tonight - Oliver was utterly appalling as ever - Liverpool have no excuses now. Whether it be Man Utd, Newcastle, Fulham, or tonight, we are starting to s*** the bed in every crunch game.
For us to concede a last-second volley - to Tarkowski of all players - is unacceptable and the players’ mentality should be questioned from that alone. Arsenal wouldn’t have done that, whether to Everton or Spurs.
As for Everton, they contribute very little to the league other than to stink it up for 37 games ready to really go for it in their annual Goodison cup final against us. It’s a shame the 3 promoted teams are always so bad, for Everton would not be missed during a stint in the Championship.

The general execution levels of this team are shambolic, to be honest. Forest are playing very basic football and there are gaps everywhere but our attackers are too thick to see them or not good enough to execute the right option. It’s infuriating.
