My argument for the 2nd Brighton penalty is:
Welbeck went down after taking a couple of steps. Had Robbo gone down too then would it have still been a penalty absolutely not. If welbeck hadn’t gone down, it wouldn’t have been a penalty.
Absolutely joke of a decision.

But we didn’t deserve to win, we were poor and the pile up of fixtures is showing. The players look absolutely worn out. Which means even more injuries are going to happen.

Neco Williams was again poor today, I hope people don’t send vile and abusive message to him and slander him on social media because it’s unnecessary. I do think a loan for a season in the championship would be best for him. He clearly has talent and it’s evident from his Wales performances but he just needs to get used to the intensity and step up in the men’s game. But good luck to the lad.

Well we were absolutely shocking last night, we just look flat at the moment. Now whether that’s because teams are making it difficult for us or we’re just not at the races in general.

I think it’s paramount that we sign a CB in Jan. If Klopp thinks we’ll be okay with what we’ve got then for me he’s seriously naive.

I’d also like to see us sign a midfielder who can create serious chances in the final 3rd (I know we have Thiago but I want someone further forward) can score a goal from 20yards. We have Ox who I like but I just don’t feel he’s quite good enough technically. He could be that player though but he’ll need time to get back to full fitness and full form.

Of course the current situation with C.V. is seriously impacting everyone mentally and physically. So this will play a part in our performances. Also, not having fans in the stadium to give you that extra boost. But we can’t control it unfortunately.

I hope everyone stays safe during in these troubling times and let’s hope we can get back to Anfield to give the lads a boost when it’s safe to do so!

I would look to get Garay on a short term deal (only if he’s recovered from his injury) and Ben White.
Both of these would see us through until the end of the season. If VVD and Gomez are expected to be out for near enough the rest of the season coupled with the fact that matip is injury prone. Then I would like to see us bring 2 CB’s in, just to be in the safe side.

Ben White for me is a must as he is HG and young. Garay only if the club feel it’s applicable and the deal (short term one) can be agreed.

Well that ends a beautiful season for the reds!
More trophies to come next season.

Thoughts on this fellow reds:
Outs in summer -
Lovren, not a bad 4th choice cb by any means but could certainly provide the opportunity for a bright good young cb to come in and fight for a place while being able to potentially forge a solid partnership with Gomez for years to come.
Lallana, I like Lallana but injuries have taken their toll on him and isn’t quite the player he used to be. Again provides an opportunity for a young gun to join.
Keita, a player I don’t actually think will leave but a player I’m growing frustrated with due to his injury record. He has shown glimpses on quality but not often enough to justify the price tag. Would provide an opportunity to sign a very good player with the potential to be world class.
Shaqiri, not played enough and seems to not always want to work for the team, while technically he is a good player I believe we could improve on him and get a player in that fits the team’s philosophy much better.
Origi, a player I hope doesn’t leave as I think he’s a decent enough back up (but needs to be played centrally for him to perform at his best) but I’d imagine if a good offer came in for him the club would look to sell.
Clyne, will leave in summer no question

They’re the people i expect to leave/ potentially leave

As for incomings:
Cb, would love for us to sign Upamecano certainly a player that will challenge for a starting spot and provides quality cover. Ben white, good young player who has done very well at Leeds also homegrown so that benefits the club in the long run. I would favour signing Upamecano now so he’s my pick.
Lb, certainly a position we need to invest in as we have become over reliant on Robertson. While Milner has done a decent job when asked he’s not a natural lb so a good back up player is required. I also don’t think the youngsters that have played have done too well (obviously they’re still developing and gaining experience) . For this position I would love us to sign Jamal Lewis from Norwich I believe he’s a very good young player who has bags of potential and has performed well for Norwich this season.
CM, a player to come replace Lallana for me we already have that in Curtis Jones so no need to sign anybody to replace him.
CM, I think the club should be looking at signing a truly quality cm somebody that can produce a moment of magic, produce a consistent killer pass and for me that player is Kai Havertz. A player I think would fit nicely into our midfield three. This would only be a priority if Keita is moved on.
Winger, we will only require a winger if both Shaqiri and Origi leave. For this position we don’t need anybody world class just somebody willing to be a back up and I think Ryan Fraser would be a good option, got pace and skill so would be a good player to have as a back up.
Striker, desperately want us to sign Werner and I think we will, he’s a quality player who will add something to this squad. GET HIM SIGNED.

Definite in’s - Upamecano, Lewis and Werner. Anything on top of this (Havertz and Fraser) are a bonus.

I would also like to take my time to wish everybody on here well and hope everyone is staying safe during these difficult times. Let’s hope we can carry on the season at some point but right now the priority is ensuring we all try our best to stay fit and healthy as health comes first before anything.
