My argument for the 2nd Brighton penalty is:
Welbeck went down after taking a couple of steps. Had Robbo gone down too then would it have still been a penalty absolutely not. If welbeck hadn’t gone down, it wouldn’t have been a penalty.
Absolutely joke of a decision.

But we didn’t deserve to win, we were poor and the pile up of fixtures is showing. The players look absolutely worn out. Which means even more injuries are going to happen.

Neco Williams was again poor today, I hope people don’t send vile and abusive message to him and slander him on social media because it’s unnecessary. I do think a loan for a season in the championship would be best for him. He clearly has talent and it’s evident from his Wales performances but he just needs to get used to the intensity and step up in the men’s game. But good luck to the lad.

Is it just me that’s a bit worried we won’t be signing the quality of players required to get us back to the top in summer?

A quality CM and CB is a must, plus at least another very good CM and a versatile player that can play in a couple of positions.

Would like to see Klopp drop Salah, as good a players as he his, he just hasn’t been on it this season. Despite him still being our leading scorer. The tactics just aren’t during him (and the team in general) .

Would like to see Klopp go with Nunez down the middle with gakpo and Elliott either side.

As much as it’s great to see Manchester City (in particular Bernardo Silvia) rattled. We can’t rely on them to drop more points this season.

We have to focus on our own game and make sure we take the pressure of ourselves and put the pressure all onto city.

Go about our business like we have been doing and then at the end of the season what will be will be.

The crunch game is the the game between us and city and I have no doubt we can and will beat them.
But like I say we just have to go about our business keep winning games even if it’s an ugly 1-0 or 2-1 just keep the momentum going and see where we are come the end of the season.

Itd be fantastic to win the quadruple but I don’t want myself or others to get carried away just take it one game at a time!

Disappointing not to get the 3 points yesterday, while we had a few moments where we showed we’re a level above we simply couldn’t get a hold of the game to cause spurs any real problems.

We massively miss Fabinho and especially in games like this, while I thought Tyler Morton had a good game he just needs that experience (which will come with game time) to read the game better to help break up the oppositions play. The lad has a very bright future.

Onto the officiating of the game, I am in disbelief at how poor a referee he is. How Harry Kane isn’t sent off is beyond me, as Klopp said if Robertson’s leg is on the ground it’s a leg breaker. Harry Kane gets away with so much because he’s the ‘golden boy’ and it’s absolutely disgusting and has to stop.

While I think we should have had a penalty for the challenge on Jota I think it would be harsh to then not give Spurs a penalty for something not to dissimilar. So I suppose the ref kind of got it right. Either way he can never officiate us again, he is simply appalling.

Team news out. I’m shocked to see gini playing, he’s been so poor recently. I just hope he’s fired up and can put a shift in tonight and prove his worth to this team (of course he’s been so good over his time here but recently he’s played his worst football for us, same can be said for others too) .
Would’ve liked Thiago to start and maybe even ox. But come on the boys let’s get the win and get stuck in.
