Team looked a bit disjointed today on paper. Didn't see the game today as it was on at 7.30am in the US so interested in people's views but it looked like a team shoehorned together with a lot of round pegs in square holes.

Losing Hendo seems likely. I know we all have to move on but it makes me feel a bit sad to see him go.

Why do people keep harping on about how great we have been over the last 5 years, it has no relevance to where we are now. might as well say we were great in the 80s!

We have great prospects in our attacking MF youngsters (HE, FC) but they are not yet premiership proven.
Imo CJ will not prove to be good enough and will not be at the club in 2 yrs.
Our more "defensive" midfielders have been great for the club but are slowing down or often injured.
Imo our midfield is not of premiership winning quality this year, I expect the gap to City to be at least 10 points.
What do you guys think?

I hear (and appreciate) what everyone here says about our mf.
Imo we have great options going forward albeit CJ HE and FC are young and perhaps not yet ready to play major parts in a title winning team.
If we could get 90 mins every week from Fab, Hendo and Thiago then I would say great but Hendo is really only good for 70ish mins these days, Millie is a year older, NK is not good enough and the Ox sadly is probably largely done at this level.
We are only one injury to Hendo and/ or Fab to make a title run impossible.
Many on here say move on the Ox or NK but let's be honest guys no one wants them, I see the same thing on the MU page. let's move on Jones and Maguire and etc etc, well they can't get rid of them either.
I think the upcoming season is 100% based on how quickly Haaland takes to the PL.
