Dear god what a dire game that was, so frustrating it's unreal. I just want the end of the season to come now.
After the early goal I really believed we could do it, stupid on my part I know but come on, we should've been at them full throttle but instead we kept buggering about doing absolutely nothing. It was almost as if we didn't want to score another?
1 goal (a pen) in three games, we're in trouble, real trouble. Bring on next season already. We need big changes and I fear it won't be an easy quick fix.

Tonight's our night to get that goal difference sorted out. No game is easy in this league that's for sure, it doesn't matter who you're playing but when we're playing the lowest of the low at our level? It's time to get the job done, we should be hammering them. I'm going to say 5-0 with ease. Don't get me wrong, I'm always wrong with my predictions maybe it'll be 6-0 lol. Looking forward to seeing us back on top :) .

What is up with Joey Barton, that fella has lost his head, well, he never had it I suppose. Him and Warnock by far the most rediculous people in football for me off the top of my head. Add to the list.

Firmino scored a goal and assisted another as Brazil defeated Argentina 2-0 to reach the Copa America final. Alisson yet to concede a single goal in the tournament!

Remember when we lost to Barcelona 3-0? look what happened there. I know, wishful thinking and all that but it's a nice thought atleast. We've blown it I'm afraid, we're out of that competition in my opinion. I didn't get to watch much of it, thankfully!

So frustrating! We should've and could've won today, we weren't up for it enough, I don't understand it at all personally. First half we could've been 4-5 nil up, wasted chances and could cost us dearly.
BUT it's far from over, Arsenal have a few hard fixtures, I'd just of liked it more for us not having to rely on others dropping points but I suppose it was always going to be the case, if we'd of won today I'd of found it difficult believing we'd of gone on to win every single game left.
I'll say it now though, I don't think City will drop points. I believe we'll drop more and so will Arsenal. This concerns me because I don't want them to win it lol I'd much rather see Arsenal win it if we can't.

This is what Klopp built, an absolute machine, a unit. We're laughing for the future because of him. It'd take one hell of a terrible manager to bugger it all up now, we're future proof with these young lads. For them youngsters to come in with little to no experience and win a cup final? it's unheard of!
Klopp is an absolute legend, this team, their mentality, it doesn't matter who plays will always give 100%, this is what gets us the results.
An incredible cup win, should've been 2-0 but VAR was just the same old as per usual, absolute nonsense as was the ref. When you consider how many of our main players were out, all of the youngsters in, Chelseas team vs our kids, the refs terrible performance and VAR yet we got that win? it's unbelievable jeff!
That's 1/ 4 trophys done onto the next, every game is a final now. Bring on Southampton.
Believe. I think we're going to win the lot, there's nothing stopping this lot. It doesn't matter who is on the pitch and I believe we proved that today. It's the mentality and mental fortitude Klopp has instilled across the board, they're all worthy, every single player.
Let's just say hypothetically, Alonso is considering us, I mean he must be? but watching this lot he'd be rubbing his hands together, he has so much to work with it's unreal, he'd be walking into almost instant success with his management skills and the quality we have.

When you consider how we've had players out/ injured the past month or so, I think we've done very well in this period. This is only our second loss of the season, that's pretty good going.
We didn't do well today but it's just one of them, it's still ours for the taking. We need to look at the bigger picture. A result none of us wanted but we're still doing incredibly well, it's a one off result, bring on Burnley.

Well, what a game that was! an excellent performance and in my eyes it was clear we were up from it from the very beginning. This is a title winning side, I truly believe we're going to go on and win the league. City can never be written off and neither can Arsenal but I don't see them being consistant enough. Who knows maybe we won't be? but I believe we will.
I have no doubts in my mind we will lift atleast one trophy this season. If we keep playing like we did tonight then I think we're going to absolutely smash it.
Salah and Endo are going to be missed but one thing I love about this team is we don't have to rely on 1-2 players because we have a team full of quality. Endo has really suprirsed me, he was one of those signings I thought wouldn't work, I think plenty of us doubted his abilities but how well has he settled? he's doing really well, fair play to the lad.
My only concerns are Nunez and Gravenberch for obvious reasons. Gravenberch hasn't clicked with us (yet? ) and Nunez can't find the back of the net. It's going to be interesting with these two, especially Nunez because I believe he can be something special, he just has to take his chances better. Fingers crossed for them both.
A great start to the year and long may it continue!
