Hi all, I'm just wondering if Ali was at Wembley on Sunday? Didn't see him in any of the celebrations so is his injury a lot worse than I thought? We know Thiago is done for the season hence he wasn't there but I thought Ali would be around if possible.

I think Evan Ferguson is a fantastic prospect, the "downside" is he looks a ready made replacement for Haaland when he moves to Real Madrid in the next couple of years!

Evening to all. Firstly I am a long time supporter of 50 years so have seen the very good times and the very bad. I am not a doom merchant and believe the club are under great management both on and off the pitch. The squad we have assembled has proved to be the best in the land over the last couple of years and will no doubt prove similar again over the coming months. I read and hear a lot about planning for the future, the squad will inevitably age and we will also lose some players through a natural desire to move on or be moved on. On that basis I do worry slightly that we are considering selling the likes of Brewster who is a fantastic prospect and will surely only get better playing alongside Firmino, Salah, Mane and under Klopp! We have no funds for transfers so surely we need to blood some of these prospects rather than giving up on them? Would any fee we get really buy us someone better than Brewster?

Morning all,
I've followed this site for many years and often (in the past) seen posts of how we've "missed out on another signing" and "we've been too slow to buy player X" etc. I have also been guilty of such thoughts but is there a particular player that with hindsight we are relieved to have missed out on/ dodged a bullet? For me the most recent was Alexis Sanchez, I was one of the many who thought he was an ideal replacement for Suarez and was gutted he chose Arsenal but now I'm relieved we didn't get him. Interested to hear others.
