Sad news coming out of the club that the great Ronnie Yeats has passed away at the age of 86.
I'm too young to have seen him play, but anyone described as a 'colossus' by Mr Shankly must have been some player.
Rest in Peace Ron.

Tomorrow is going to be to be very, very emotional. So while i've got a lid on it, i want to say thank you Jurgen.
Thank you for some of the best times of my adult life. For making my dreams true and for giving me magical moments to share with my kids.
Thank you for giving it everything you had. For getting what this club means to us. For everything.
Enjoy whatever comes next, and to paraphrase the words of Mr Shankly: 'Jurgen, you're immortal now'.

Great result last night. Was at the back of the Annie Road with my lad - been a while, but loved it.
Mac excellent throughout; Robbo's introduction changed the game, but a word for Virj, Ibou and Joe who i thought were very good.
And how can you not love Captain Chaos?

Anyone else seen the article on TIA quoting Ljinders taking the 'credit' for the inverted full back system change?
Even stated he'd bet his salary on it working.

This probably won't be a popular view on here - and i'm not trying to be some kind of superfan - but i'm not too disheartened by last night's result.
After Tuesday's horror show, and all the physical, mental and emotional toll that a result like that can take, not losing the next game is key. However you do it, don't lose again. And we didn't.
Yes, this season has been awful, yes the squad needs overhauling, yes we need to go back to the old pressing style. I totally agree with all that.
And i'll moan and whinge with the best of them.
But i'm a very lucky man to be part of this Liverpool FC family.
And we will be back.
