Pep may end up regretting those words, football has a funny way of biting you. i'd love it if we beat them, Rafas fact speech and hopefully 'everyone supports liverpool' and his jibe about the league get added to the list.

And spoiler alert pep, the only people that support liverpool are liverpool. We are definitely not the neutrals club!

Bielsa in the premier league. Living in leeds I'm chuffed for them but if our game at Elland road is with fans I would love to get my hands on an away ticket. But away tickets are like gold dust! An away day is one I'll struggle to tick off the bucket list I think.

Porto have sent the warning signs that neutral venues may be needed after turning up for an away game.

I would want as many as possible to be at home grounds but i would rather they’d air on the side of caution for what the police deem as high risk.

I think we need to draw a line under the decision to furlough staff, obviously on the face of it to the majority of us the decision doesn’t sit well but at least all the staff can go home to their families, look after them and not have to worry about the shortfall that’s the crucial point.

I do think we could of handled it better but they have made their decision.

The whole money thing (players wages, tv revenue etc) is getting very messy with everyone throwing their two pence in, saying what the players and club should should do and the PFA are no they helping matters. Slight understatement.

We don’t know what every player or club is doing behind the scenes in terms of donations, all we can do right now is look after those close to us, stay indoors and see how this plays out.

I can imagine the majority of us have bigger issues right now.

I know not Liverpool related as such but the premier league has lost a legend in Kompany, that goal is what got them over the line and the amount of trophies under him as captain is incredible.

Think he will be a huge loss in the dressing room for city and hopefully VVD can go on and be our rock for years to come.

With players like him you have to respect them and wish them all the best, be interesting how many city youngsters he picks up in Belgium.

I have a sneaky suspicion Mo's 200th will now be against United. If he doesn't score this weekend, I think him scoring against them and then being booked for taking his shirt off would be well worth a punt!

Sorry to add to the influx of VAR posts but I will try to be level headed here.

That statement tonight is basically them saying the VAR official forgot to check and take the time required to check it over.

I can take the Jones one as I see why it was given, I can take Jota as he shouldn't do that on a booking regardless of the first being a nothing challenge.

But for the VAR official to basically forget to do his job? Imagine a bin man going 'sorry boss' I forgot to get the bins today but I won't to it again. Or a bus driver forgetting he's got a brake! You cannot forget or choose not to do something that's just blatant incompetence. Or worse still corruption that is hiw bad that decision was that you question the integrity of the game.

I have tried to stick up for VAR as I think it should work but all confidence has gone when they can't draw lines. I honestly presumed the tech had broke as that's the only way i could get my head round the decision.

Now everyone is going to question if an offside is correct and for me the only solution is to bin it off. You cannot get people to buy into a system that is so flawed as (oops I forgot! )

I don't want to sound like I am throwing my toys out the pram but I'd be saying the same if it happened to United or any other rival.

That changes a game and possibly a season if you win games like that with ten men. There is no guarantee what happens after that if its given, but when you have the tech you shouldn't be getting that wrong.

Worse thing about all this is if a linesman got it wrong, I'd be frustrated but I can see why he's missed it. When you have replays and the screen in front of you you cannot get it wrong.

Go back to just the refs and goaline tech and give us our game back.

I am going to start this by saying, yes I'm jealous of their success. But I have the city game on, was left on from watching the Leeds WHU game. But to say they have sealed the league the atmosphere is nothing short of pathetic.

Maybe they've got so used to winning that they are numb to it, but winning the league should stir enough, even in the fair weather fan. But this is like one of those end of the season games between 2 mid table teams. Honestly if it wasn't for the commentary you'd think it was on mute!

Anyone seen the semi automated offside tool for the world cup? In principle it looks brilliant but the concern is the people using it.

We may get some very tight decisions but if its black and white like goal line tech, I think it could be a great addition to the sport.

There’s been a bit of fallout regarding mane and the fee but there are a few caveats for me.

By the sound of it, Bayern were the ones he wanted and the only club that wanted him this year so Bayern had a strong hand.

He only had a year left on his contract so if we didn’t take it we would of had him for an extra year. Pair that with the fact he would then go on a free and he would have another years of wages meant a deal had to be done.

This scenario wouldn’t of made any sense as we have already replaced him. Would of left us further out of pocket and likely annoyed a player who has probably given us his best years.

So yes not the greatest transfer fee but overall makes complete sense for both us and him.
