Pep may end up regretting those words, football has a funny way of biting you. i'd love it if we beat them, Rafas fact speech and hopefully 'everyone supports liverpool' and his jibe about the league get added to the list.

And spoiler alert pep, the only people that support liverpool are liverpool. We are definitely not the neutrals club!

Bielsa in the premier league. Living in leeds I'm chuffed for them but if our game at Elland road is with fans I would love to get my hands on an away ticket. But away tickets are like gold dust! An away day is one I'll struggle to tick off the bucket list I think.

Porto have sent the warning signs that neutral venues may be needed after turning up for an away game.

I would want as many as possible to be at home grounds but i would rather they’d air on the side of caution for what the police deem as high risk.

I think we need to draw a line under the decision to furlough staff, obviously on the face of it to the majority of us the decision doesn’t sit well but at least all the staff can go home to their families, look after them and not have to worry about the shortfall that’s the crucial point.

I do think we could of handled it better but they have made their decision.

The whole money thing (players wages, tv revenue etc) is getting very messy with everyone throwing their two pence in, saying what the players and club should should do and the PFA are no they helping matters. Slight understatement.

We don’t know what every player or club is doing behind the scenes in terms of donations, all we can do right now is look after those close to us, stay indoors and see how this plays out.

I can imagine the majority of us have bigger issues right now.

I know not Liverpool related as such but the premier league has lost a legend in Kompany, that goal is what got them over the line and the amount of trophies under him as captain is incredible.

Think he will be a huge loss in the dressing room for city and hopefully VVD can go on and be our rock for years to come.

With players like him you have to respect them and wish them all the best, be interesting how many city youngsters he picks up in Belgium.

There’s been a bit of fallout regarding mane and the fee but there are a few caveats for me.

By the sound of it, Bayern were the ones he wanted and the only club that wanted him this year so Bayern had a strong hand.

He only had a year left on his contract so if we didn’t take it we would of had him for an extra year. Pair that with the fact he would then go on a free and he would have another years of wages meant a deal had to be done.

This scenario wouldn’t of made any sense as we have already replaced him. Would of left us further out of pocket and likely annoyed a player who has probably given us his best years.

So yes not the greatest transfer fee but overall makes complete sense for both us and him.

So we dropped points yesterday, far from ideal but it doesn't change the landscape of the title picture too much. Its obviously dissapointing to drop points but at Christmas I thought we would be 15 points off the pace by now. Its been an incredible run off form to get here.

This remains one of the best times to be a liverpool fan and drawing with a team chasing top 4 and one of the best counter attacking teams in the league is hardly a disgrace.

I still feel city will drop points between now and season end whether its enough we will have to wait.

But regardless of yesterday we still have two trophies to fight for and a trip to Paris to enjoy.

We can't control what city do but I still feel they are due a bit of bad luck and that mahrez miss will haunt them.

Keep the faith lads its not done yet!

Right along with an origi statue we need a Ulla statue. From Klopps words I think our pep will then takeover the reigns. He seemed an important part of the decision process.

What a time to be a red, we will have up and downs but it won't get much better then this. Drink it in chaps we have 4 years of this!

My favourite stat from yesterday, Allan completed two passes, both from kick off.

I know the game was incredibly frustrating yesterday particularly first half but its how they had to play to get something, or try to from the game. If they tried to play football they would of been hit by a huge scoreline. They had a game plan and stuck to it.

Gordon made a rod for his own back yesterday. if he doesn't dive first half, he probably gets it second half. Hopefully a harsh lesson for him as he has a good attitude other then that. And did well to keep composed spending most of the game on a yellow. I have also seen it mentioned that he felt contact so went down, I have no idea how to get it out the game but it needs to and that isn't just Gordon that's across the board.

Richarlison has to be the most infuriating footballer to watch, the one where he headed the ball, ran 10m then dropped being the worse instance.

I still hope they don't go down, I wouldn't want to wish that on anyone really but the hierarchy have put Everton in this position. They had a higher spend and a higher net spend then us with more players costing over 25m over the last few years!

The money has been utterly wasted and if they do drop it has nothing to do with Rafa (they got off to a flyer don't forget, 14 points in the first 7) or even lamps it's the decision making for the last few years that has caused this and as always its the fans caught up in the poo storm!

So Salah is holding out for money, can't blame him we would all do the same.

But we have had players come and go and will continue to do so, the club will always be bigger and stand the test of time!

If we were to sell him what do people expect we'd get? (If the eds don't want to go here, I get it) I think we would all want 100m+ but I think it's incredibly unlikely.

Personally I think we would be looking at the 50/ 60m range, he would be in his last 12 months, have little to no sell on value and our negotiation position would be weak.

Plus I don't think there will be a huge amount of competition purely due to circumstances. Real want Mbappe and Haaland, Barcelona have little money apparently so the only club I'd see in for him is PSG. I discount the PL clubs as I don't think we would sell to them.

So we either stump up but I think with players apparently looking for sign on bonuses the size of transfer fees! It will be very difficult to put a sum down that'll entice him especially with an agent that can smell his potential payout!
