What was Sterling doing when he came off?
Refused to go off, Lloris offers him help, Sterling appears to say I'll go off when I get help, DeBruyne helps him like a cub scout helps an old lady across the road. He then walks under his own power and pulls his shirt half way up.
What was that all about?

Though we're not exactly helping ourselves either. Some terrible passing.

Was also checking out players from the recent U20 South American Championship.

Luciano Rodriguez (URU: FW) and Fabricio Diaz (URU:FW) .

Both play for Liverpool in Uruguay - both look stats-wise, very good and video reels. blah blah blah.

Anyway, they're not Antony Le Tallec or Sinama-Pongolle, so there's that.

If we sell Jota, in addition to losing Bobby, that leaves us with Gakpo and Nunez as CF. I know Mo can play there too, but JK's preference (and the player's too) is right-side. Diaz is primarily left and both Nunez and Gakpo can also cover that position.

Essentially 4 players to cover those front 3 positions. All good.

Young players who can also play there like Doak, Carvalho (seems to have been pulled into reserve recently - I suspect to be given time to develop) and even Elliot can play there too.

I'm going to suggest a player, similar to Bobby apparently (even looks a bit like him) as a wild-car addition, who could, they say, develop into a 'gorgeous footballer'. Searched the site, can't find his name. I'm certain the Bianconieri would be reluctant to deal with us however.

Kaio Jorge.

Very much like Firmino - relies on position and movement as opposed to speed (to be fair, all the best Brazilian players have done that through the years) and also does all the Brazilian things you want a Brazilian player to try, .

I wasn't watching it as such, but on Sky Sports this morning, I noticed a couple of statistical lists they put up on the side of the scree and thought, neither of those are good things surely?
The first was Fouls Won - top was Zaha with something like 83 fouls won. Why is that a thing? Am I missing something? I know maybe those players on the list are a bit faster (would like to see if they're all wingers) but surely winning a foul suggests you're likely to go down more easily to gain advantage - ergo cheating.

The other was most saves. Again, like it's a good thing. All it says to me is the rest of your team is rubbish at defending. De Gea was top of the list, so I suppose it illustrates he is actually a good keeper but as we know, those in front of him are laughably poor at keeping the ball aay from him.
