Frustrating game and media and other teams will consider us out of the race now. The draws have been killing us but look where we are. We are 1 point behind the leaders with 9 games left to play this season. Every one of us would have bitten anyones hand off to be in this position. Citehs injuries are building up and they still have allot of games left to play. I think this will benefit the team to be honest. Its out of our hands, and the pressure has been really affecting the team. The pressure is all on city now, hopefully this will take the pressure off the team and we can just relax and play great football and win the remaining of our games. Whatever happens, happpens. If we finish a point behind city, the season for me is a success.
On to the next game. YNWA.

Havent been on here in a while, but just wanted to say what a season we have had so far. 7 games to an unprecedented quad, no team has ever come this close. HOWEVER, i do think we need to have cool heads, as nothing is won yet. We need to take it one game at a time, we have a tricky away game in a CL semi final against a strong Villareal side who have knocked out big teams this year. Ideally i'd want to play madrid in the final, City lost last seasons final, they won't want to lose 2 in a row. But again getting ahead of ourselves, nothing is won yet, next league game is against a tough Spurs team. I think regardless of what happens at the end, we will be proud of the boys, even in January no one expected us to be here. c'mon you reds. YNWA.

Chris Kirkland today came out and said the PL title is heading to Liverpool that we are too far ahead to be caught. Are people for real? We have played 8 games, i always maintain you can't seriously look at the table until christmas. There is 30 games left, that means there are 90 points available. I don't get why pundits are saying its ours to lose or we definitely will win. We have had a great start to the season, but we are not even near half way, lots of football left to play. At least the fans have the heads screwed on right and are only focused on the next game. Sorry rant over. YNWA.

Looking ahead to friday and the season in general, I hope us as fans approach the season the same way we did last season. Not focused on the title in May, not worried about city or others around us, and only focused on our own game and most importantly the next game. Yes we got so close last year, and yes it was hard to lose out, but we are moving forward as a club and it is a great time to be a fan, so i say let's just enjoy the time, enjoy our football and focus solely on the next game which is Norwich on Friday. c'mon the reds. Another great win and another superb performance. Top of the league for the first time since May 2014. One thing that impresses me most though, is how grounded both the players and the fans are. Like yes we are top of the league, but that we are not getting carried away with that fact. I don't know if it is because we have learned the mistakes from 2014, or if it is the leadership of Klopp that has a calming but assured confidence to our game. One thing when we were in the title race in 2014 was, I felt it was more of a "i hope we can keep this going", rather than a genuine belief we were going to win, it was more down to Suarez if he was on form or not. It is a totally different feeling this time round, maybe because it is the entire team, rather than any 1 individual who is driving us forward, although Coutinho is just amazing.
But I know whenever we go out into a game, i feel like we are going to win, and win by some margin. I think it is vitally important though not to think of winning titles, but just to enjoy where we are at, it is a nice change to be winning all the time and winning by playing outstanding football.
