Enjoying reading the CM threads. Just want to get this idea out there - Can and Coutinho as centre mid pairing. Always liked Phil deeper when he played left pivot of diamond and whilst not a natural tackler, his work rate is good and he'd be involved more in the build up rather than some games he can tend to go missing. Like to hear some thoughts.
{Ed001's Note - I like him playing in that central midfield role too. He gets stuck in and can get more involved. I feel he goes missing when played further forward.}

I've just seen in the Premier League since Boxing day we are 6th with a game in hand; if we won that we'd be 2nd, just a point behind Spurs who are top. If that doesn't give a true perspective of what Klopp has done already then nothing will.
In 4th I believe.

Oh god no no suprises from cilla ever again my mum used to watch it when I was young I was forced to watch with her dreadful programme never ever should cilla black do a suprise suprise show onto footbal now my anti cilla rant is over hopefully madrid play like they have tonight when they face us all that money and getting done in by a team that cost 10 bob in relative terms and that pink kit is horrendous theres a few pink kits most are decent thats not one of them

When we sign Moreno, Manquillo and (probably) Bony that would be 9 anyway! I can't see Reina staying can you? So that's 10. Alli would already be here if the price wasn't so high and if we sign him he'd likely go to a championship side for a year, that's 11. Which leaves Reus - I think the chances aren't high but not impossible. Let's
assume he doesn't sign; I see Macca has alerted us to Kono being a possibility so that would be 12 instead. I don't see this as excessive when possibly five or more first teamers and two or more fringe players could leave. Also of the 12 signings Origi and as mentioned Alli will be on loan.
