How slow did Rhys Williams look last night? We capitulated last night against a poor side, when we had a prime opportunity to move 5 points clear, not impressed!
For me it is abundantly clear that we need a CB with Matip injured (yet again) Rhys Williams looks too slow and the injuries to VVD and Gomez.

Based on the recent appointments and the potential incoming of Amorim, I would be extremely surprised if Inacio didn’t join the reds this summer. He is top of the Klopp, Fallows list for CB and would be a known reliable addition for Amorim if he decides to join.
I don’t see Sane joining from Bayern and I would personally like to see Kudus take the Salah position, young, talented, and already had a taste of the prem, would not come cheap but full of potential.

Starting team for Sunday for me would be:

Kelleher
Bradley, Konate, VVD, Gomez
Mac Allister Endo Elliott
Salah Nunez Diaz (Really hope Salah and Nunez are fit)

Gakpo and Gravenberch hopefully come on
around the 65-70 mark and we see it through
I predict a tight game and wouldn’t be surprised by extra time or pens again!
I will be there brothers and sisters come on the red men!

Ok two draws against United and Arsenal, we didn’t play well against United and they did a decent (park the bus) job on us.
More disappointed we didn’t beat Arsenal as I felt we played well and dominated them in the second half (TAA miss was a shocker)
That being said, we are two points clear at the top, going into the final round of games in 2023 and I am really pleased with our position, especially when I think we still have way more to give.
If we were to sign a player for this window, it would be a LCB, also able to play LB.
That would also allow JG to cover RB and give TAA the option of moving to the CM role were he is most effective!

Not convinced with Mac Allister so far he is ok at best, and if we had the chance to raid Villa for Douglas Luiz and Diaby next summer I would jump at the chance.
I know it’s early days and he has been playing out of his comfort zone but he gives the ball away way too often.
New CB in the winter window required too, as I think VVD despite playing well this season is on the decline.
