Mane is having a horrid game, blocked a goal bound ball, got a booking for a dive and had a goal disallowed for offside. He needs to score a hat-trick.

Salah is the most important Liverpool player currently. Previously it was VVD and before him Mane (Klopp era)
It is laziness to compare the importance of Salah to that Courtinho, but in the worst case scenario, sell Salah and make a killing on his sale - the Abua risk is just not worth it.

Do we have the best team?
Man Utd have the best individual stars, but don't have a team. Maybe a change of coach would help but I doubt it, as I think the problem lies with misplaced priority in recruiting.
Man City have the best team depth even after a rather quiet transfer window.
Chelsea I believe are still the team to beat, the have an established defensive ethos, world class midfield and potent attack. In addition to that, their recruitment and coaching is unrivaled. Finally they have the funds and willingness to spend.
Shootout to Brentford
We need strength in depth and maybe this would require some ruthlessness in the coming window both for sales and purchases.
Origi and to a lesser degree Taki can't be our attacking depth, while we have old war horses in the midfield, players who are very injury prone and are certainly not game changers. Sad to include Thiago in the mix of these old war horses (Henderson, Milner, Ox, Keita) but he can't be trusted to play 80 percent of the games.

Want do I want for Christmas? A midfield player in the mould of Fekir or Bruno.

What a wonderful match against a very never-say-die side, totally gave us no respect (not knowing when they are beaten) .
Something is wrong on our right hand side, Matip was too exposed (TAA or the Cap not doing their jobs) and his lack of speed was capitalized upon.
I was really entertained, but noticed unlike since VVD and Allison came I found myself getting anxious when we were being attacked. Too many loose balls and missed passes, can't imagine we would miss Thiago so much.
. But we came off with a point, still remain unbeaten and are topping the table. On to the next one.

Kostas Tsimikas - i am liking this guy more and more. His composure on the ball is elite. His dribbles and crosses sublime. But like for Andy, i wish they scored more goals or at least had shots on target. Yes it may not be their core functions but even Allison helped out with a goal last season.

Konate lookd unassured. Reminded me a bit of Sakho, i hope it is just nerves and he becomes more confident.
At least he is not like Sketel/ Lovren in making rash decisions - he showed his decision making a number of times. But still need him to sort his legs out quicker.

So Keita is not worth the amount, but VVD is? Brother what is your OPINION based on?
