An interesting scenario -
Utd seem keen on Hummels and Dortmund are keen on Ilori on loan. Why would we seemingly want to help our rivals get a main target? However Utd seem willing to offer Kagawa (a left sided AM) as part of the deal. Anyone know any decent left sided AMs at Dortmund?!

It could be wishful thinking but surely the only way we'd agree to this loan is if we got something out of this. It's possible Reus is just trying to get a bigger contract but we can hope.

To all those who say we couldn't afford Reus - one word, Sanchez. We made a c£35m offer with
wages c£150k per week. We could 'afford' Sanchez but not Reus? Suarez leaving has reduced the wage bill; Agger, Reina, Johnson, Lucas will follow and we should get close to £20m if Borini and Assaidi finalise their deals. Of course we can afford Reus!

The after the two FBs are concluded, we just need a striker, back up GK and a deadline day bid for Alli when the Dons will be forced to back down their currently ridiculous demands and we'll be set for a VERY special season.

{Special Guest reet - so if I include reus you want 12 signings?

When we sign Moreno, Manquillo and (probably) Bony that would be 9 anyway! I can't see Reina staying can you? So that's 10. Alli would already be here if the price wasn't so high and if we sign him he'd likely go to a championship side for a year, that's 11. Which leaves Reus - I think the chances aren't high but not impossible. Let's
assume he doesn't sign; I see Macca has alerted us to Kono being a possibility so that would be 12 instead. I don't see this as excessive when possibly five or more first teamers and two or more fringe players could leave. Also of the 12 signings Origi and as mentioned Alli will be on loan.

{Special Guest reet - if you put it that way it doesn't seem much but 12 on paper is _______(fill in the blank)
I think manquillo and a backup gk ain't required and I suspect if kono comes in then no bony
remember kono can play as a false no 9
