I know not Liverpool related as such but the premier league has lost a legend in Kompany, that goal is what got them over the line and the amount of trophies under him as captain is incredible.

Think he will be a huge loss in the dressing room for city and hopefully VVD can go on and be our rock for years to come.

With players like him you have to respect them and wish them all the best, be interesting how many city youngsters he picks up in Belgium.

How long will this hurt for? It's not often I am a sore loser, but I can't even congratulate City on this one. Our owners have invested pretty much to their limits while city's team (s) have been paid for with the spare change in the back of their sofa which is made entirely of cash. Yes I'm bitter. Yes I call foul play. No one can invest what they do and still meet FFP rules. Sod UEFA on this one, I think it's the premier league's responsibility to make sure everything is above board as well. Our league is meant to be competitive. If City remain unchecked and dominate for years that'll be no fun for anybody.

Just a bit of fun:
Would you swap places with City now?
I think I would.

And am I wrong in wanting City to score early if they win?
It'd take the pressure off and I could enjoy our game more.

If we win the Champions League and Netherlands win the Nations League. We will be signing 'He's our number 4 and he's won Balon d'or' . A champions league win would give him a Top 2 finish at least.

So Sunday could turn these footballers in to club legends. Wolves will not be easy, I have never been so impressed by a promoted team as I have Wolves. Yes they spent money but so did Fulham and they are worlds apart, they have a manager who for me could manage any of the top six, us included. A win on Sunday will be hard fought and well earned. But I'm confident it will be a win.

City have what many deem to be a straight forward game on Sunday, but make no mistake Brighton are not on holiday, Bruno will retire after the game and I'm sure the team will want to send him off on a high . The home crowd will demand a performance and with certain players openly stating they have a professional duty to perform as if they were still fighting for thier Premiership lives, this will not be a cake walk. Will City win, the odds say yes, but this week has shown that odds mean nothing, guts, determination and pride mean alot.

I work with 2 spurs fans and a city fan. These next few weeks could be amazing for me or end in absolute torture.

I'm hoping Spurs finish in the top four so they've nothing to play for in Madrid.
And if they do win the European Cup (proper name) they might have to sign a player or two and that won't go down well with their board.
They don't need these distractions along with finding a new manager.

Just to change the topic a little bit.

Congrats to Liverpool Alumni, Suso and Borini, for both scoring in AC Milan's victory over Bologna to keep their Top 4 hopes alive.

Who out of our non-retired past players would you like to see back at the club? Personally I wouldn't mind either Suso or Jack Hobbs. Both could add a bit of extra depth to our squad (although I am sure they wouldn't want to give up 1st team football to sit on our bench)!

Red Sandman.

Should we miss out despite amassing 97 points we cannot be anything but proud of the efforts of the team. To put it into context we actually will have bettered City's results against the 18 other teams in the league but effectively lost out in a head to head battle with City. A 2-1 aggregate loss may be the difference. If it comes down to that we just have to hold our hands up and accept they deserved it.

Saying all that here's to a 1-1 draw with Brighton last game and the Ox fires a last minute winner against Wolves!

Cheers.

If it wasn't for LFC, the Premiership would have been a one-horse race this season A la Scotland. Fans of other clubs should appreciate that instead of knocking LFC.
