Saw these stats from yesterday's game for TAA so I thought I would share. It was only 2 weeks ago people were concerned about him after the Palace game. This is not me saying we are a 1 man team mind before someone starts bawling their eyes out. I'm simply sharing the stat.

I think yesterday's disappointing result leaves us with little option but to go full strength from now on. CL would be an amazing trophy to win but finishing top 4 at this point in Klopps revolution is just as important. 2 years ago we apparently sacrificed top 4 to concentrate on winning Europa and ended up empty handed. This season could easily end. Amazingly and probably our best campaign since premier league era - CL winners and top 4.

Amazingly - CL winners and outside top 4. Very good season - top 4, don't win CL but still a great run. Or worst possible case could still happen - outside top 4 and don't win CL. With our Jekyll and Hyde performances we are just as likely to do as the other. There's a maximum of 6 games left and I think we need to play our strongest 11 in every one of them until top 4 is confirmed and then rest players if needed.

We have always looked exciting going forward since Klopp came in and this season we have even moved up a gear in that department. But what has impressed me more this last few months is this new found resilience we have seemed to discover. Last night we were under the cosh and the Liverpool of recent past would have crumbled but we were like a boxer on the ropes who then found that inner strength and produced our own knockout blow.

I believe this new found resilience is what has been the biggest part of the jigsaw missing in us putting in a title challenge. There is still a way to go in this season so 3 points on Saturday and then rest the main players for 10 days before the semi first leg. Surely our reserves have enough in the tank to get wins against West Brom and Stoke.

This time last week we were saying we would steamroll Utd and be 2nd in the league. Fast forward a week and we are now saying bring on City and talking of making the final because we beat them in 1 game at Anfield already this season and the fixture at the Etihad either didn't happen or doesn't count. I love my club but there's also such a thing as blind faith.

I cannot wait for the City games but for me they are the best team in the country (21 points ahead proves that) and we will need to replicate our performance at Anfield against them twice if we are to progress. However for me we have a far more important game which is the next one against Watford. Top 4 is the priority now until the CL games come around.
