I don’t think anyone can say that this result hasn’t been coming for a while. The midfield was overrun again tonight. Gini culpable for the second goal because he is just not strong enough. The midfield collectively are devoid of creativity, always trying to play down the flanks to the full backs and never looking for a cutting pass, the one time we did go down the middle against red star Salah forced the keeper into a save (our only shot on target) . Against Arsenal the midfield was completely overrun by one player (Torreira) .



The front 3 look dead on their feet after a long season last season plus the World Cup, they need a rest, change is needed in midfield, Klopp surely has noticed this in the past few games but I don’t know if he has the answer.

Good win today, but does anyone else feel Klopp makes substitutions too late? We didn’t really open Brighton up as many times as we probably should have, especially in the second half. I wouldn’t have minded seeing Sturridge come on earlier and perhaps Shaqiri.
