I was in Florence for a few days last week, they have a lot of love for Batistuta still, it got me thinking of football Italia in the 90’s reminiscing.
I would have loved Batistuta at LFC, especially in this team.
Who else remembers those days and who would you love to of seen?

I think VVD is world class and I love him, , but he’s coming up 34, who else out there come close to him?

If we pay 145m for Isak it reflects the market, there seem to be a lack of top shelf strikers at the moment.
During the 80’s and 90’s there seemed to be lots more and they were incredibly talented too.
I dread to think what a prime Van Basten would go for now.

I saw the post about transfers you would stop if you could have.
And started to think of players I would of loved to see at LFC
I would have loved one of Totti, Del Piero or Baggio.
I remember Italian football on C4 back in the day.

Hi all,
If we can get the old Diaz back this season then he’s well worth keeping, he had a lot going on last year, so maybe with a clear head and no injuries we will have a player on our hands.
I have to say I’m still worried about the hangover from Klopp, but I like the look of Slot so far, and I’m looking forward to the brand of football he plays.

I have to say I do like Eze from Palace, but where would he fit in Liverpools team.
I know we are t in for him, but could he grow in to a John Barnes type player.
Ps… not comparing them Barnes was my favourite player and an exceptional player.
