It's because we have to win that I'd give a number of fringe players a game from the start tomorrow as some first teamers looked tired against ManU (probably due to internationals played) .

Ox for Gini.
Keita for Hendo.
Gomez for Trent.
Lovren for Matip (he is out anyway so have to do this as Gomez will be right back with Trent also out) .

My question is to those who are knowledgeable about the positioning of the ref for when Origi got tackled from behind.
After viewing it again you can see that his view was going to be obstructed, so I want to know why he didn't position himself or move his feet quicker to get a better view?
Is it laziness because he's been about for some time and therefore he just thinks var will keep him right. Or am I naive and expect too much from a referee?

So once again we don't turn up at Old Trafford. Yes the officiating was poor but it doesn't hide the fact that until the last 10-15 mins or so we were shocking. It wasn't until Naby and the Ox came on did we look like penetrating their defence.

Having Mané on the right clearly doesn't work, it hasn't previously so why play him there yesterday.

I knew this would happen, all this talk of us battering them 4 or 5 nil.

A wasted opportunity against a woeful United team, this is 2 valuable points dropped.

Really bad performance today. But the var incident I'm sorry for saying this but that was how you constitutionally cheat

This needs a serious look at because I saw today a collective approach by the officials today to push for a positive result for Manchester United

That was blatant and visible

English football isn't corrupt Give me a break.

When I saw the line up I could beleive Milner wasn't in the team. 2 weeks off, played well in the last game. He creates more than Gin and Hendo put together. Klopp and the players didn't learn their lesson from last year.

I said I'd be pleased enough with a draw. Even happier that lallana, if not restarting his anfield career, has a big goal to take with him.
We took point from old Trafford. More pressure on ole.

I'd like to have, my say on VAR. If wrong decision is made and the VAR ref won't correct it then what is the point, might as well carry on as we were. Mane definitely handball but foul from behind on Divvy is not. WTF!

So sick of dropping points against teams battling against relegation.

I can't believe all the whining about VAR. the decisions were correct, regardless of being against us. Did they suck? Absolutely, but the rules are the rules. The ref missed some cards on united's end, but wasn't bad aside from that. A point isn't ideal but we are talking about a point at Old shaftford. Far from a horror story.

Alisson starts. Midfield of Gini, Fabinho and Hendo. Salah not in lineup and Origi takes his place.

Come on Red Men!

We will win Sunday if these two things happen;

Klopp sets us up to win this year not draw like last year (as we lost title mainly due to draws last year I feel Klopp is going all out for winning every game this year so hopeful on this one) .

We score first (most teams in bad form tend to crumble when go behind) .

Good luck Redmen!

So our game against Leicester has been moved to 8pm on Boxing Day to accommodate Amazon's involvement

A disgrace

Thankfully the club are putting on free coaches.

Deffo feels like a roles reversed scenario coming up this sunday. Apart from last 2 years or so lfc would be travelling into a game vs united as under dogs and would be the biggest game of our season and a good time to cause an upset. Fast forward to 20 october 2019 it feels like it's a "game for us" but its the big one for them to derail us and time to perform? Maybe I'm wrong for thinking this but it makes them a dangerous opponent for us Sunday. Let's be honest if form and quality come to fruition we will come away with our 18th win in the league on the bounce which is just incredible. But being a lfc fan these games rarely go with form it's more about who wants it on the day.

So we're half way into this annoying 2 week international break and I'm cracking up. Thinking ahead to United next week has me very excited but also a touch of nerves.

Chris Kirkland today came out and said the PL title is heading to Liverpool that we are too far ahead to be caught. Are people for real? We have played 8 games, i always maintain you can't seriously look at the table until christmas. There is 30 games left, that means there are 90 points available. I don't get why pundits are saying its ours to lose or we definitely will win. We have had a great start to the season, but we are not even near half way, lots of football left to play. At least the fans have the heads screwed on right and are only focused on the next game. Sorry rant over. YNWA.

It's not motd fever because if you look back I've said it in my posts before. I think that Raul Jimenez would be a very decent player in our squad to rotate with our front 3. the guy is quality and frightensthe rubbish out of defenders and his work rate is right up klopp street. ala firmino. just a thought maybe worth a cheeky bid in the future 🤔🤔👍.
