I've heard Liverpool see Marc Guehi as a market opportunity. His quality and versatility, and entering the last year of his contract.

Just a thought but I wonder if Slot might think of playing him as an inverted left back. Similar to how Trent played on the right. Depending on the opposition of course.

He has the quality to sit next to Gravenberch in midfield, allowing Mac or Szob to push forward, plus Bradley or Frimpong pushing high on the right.

Murmurings that Isak is in the north west, hiding out at Moor Hall in Ormskirk waiting for a deal to be agreed. Just passing on what I have heard, could be complete fluff but interesting.

Hi all, more info for you regarding Howe/ Isak/ Squad relationship.

Thankfully, my source of info regarding the deal being totally blocked a week or two back seems to be along the same lines of communication as Luke Edwards and other Tyneside journos who were informed of a deal being blocked. I’m glad I got the wrong info this time.

Regarding Isak, sources from Merseyside are telling me it’s at a very, very advanced stage with Newcastle awaiting Woltemade to put pen to paper before giving Isak the green light to travel. Howe is said to feel like a massive weight has been lifted off his shoulders. Especially in the last week or two, he’s had absolutely ZERO intention of ever attempting reintegration. If Isak stays at NUFC for some god forsaken reason, it would be to warm the reserves bench.

The squad is also said to be glad this whole saga is coming to a close. A number of players though, largely influenced by Bruno Guimareas, is said to be more than happy to see the back of him.

Regarding Isak.

The game hasn't changed.

We have been encouraged to buy Alexander Isak on Newcastle's terms for weeks.

It's a bit of a joke how NUFC are playing their amateur card deck but, we play.

One thing is, Newcastle are resisting media weakness and by all accounts it has completely backfired.

They were better shutting up.

Now the sale has to happen on LFC terms.

This time next week I expect HUGE developments.

By the end of the window, Isak wears Red.

£135M with £10M add ons.

Hearing that Crystal Palace is going to acquire Jeremy Jacquet. The transfer if it happens will pave the way for Marc Guehi to join Liverpool.
