So post the international break, and for the next 2-3 games, we'll be left with Neco Williams, Robertson, Matip and one of Philips and Rhys Williams. It looks fine, it could certainly be much worse. I would rather have Fabinho up ahead at DM (with Thiago) to offer additional protection. Add Wijnaldum if Klopp doesn't want to stick to the 4-2-4. And bring in Henderson (keep him rested) and Milner if the likes of Vardy, Maupay and Traore are roasting Neco or bombing long balls over our back 4's heads.

Not specifically related to LFC, but I think it's food for thought about an issue that could become important one day. In view of one story that appeared today that ex-footballers were increasingly being diagnosed with dementia (I assume from heading the ball) and another story (also today) saying that Thiago Silva was complaining about frequent headaches from heading the ball, what do you think the future has in store for us?

Do you foresee a day in the future where football will take out use of the head in the game? (Yeah, the smart guys will answer many footballers already don't use their head, I'm aware, lol) .

Just read an interesting story on Ryan Babel today. It seems he's amassing quite a real estate portfolio and investing in a variety of businesses, while helping other footballers do the same and not drink and dance their millions away. He's not exactly become a multi-millionaire like Mathieu Flamini (ex-Arsenal), who's a principal in a bio-chemical company, but it's still a far cry from what we always read about Babel, being an average footballer by day and DJ party guy at night.

Happy to see it and wish more footballers did the same after (or even during) their careers.

Hats off to Julian Nagelsmann and his Liepzig team. Excellent game against Atletico Madrid. We are avenged! And what a player that Upamecano kid is.

You know that moment when the ball crosses the goal line and you get this sudden rush of joy and pleasure? That scream and fist pumping and dancing around the chair, after watching the goal scorer do the same on the field?

Well, it's almost all gone for me. Because you now sit and wait for the all clear from VAR, after every goal. And you don't even know, as a fan or spectator, what the reasoning is behind an acceptance or refusal of a goal. That's what is killing the game for me. And I don't feel like sitting through 90 minutes of watching anymore, when they're gradually taking away those moments in their blind search for accuracy and "advancement".

VAR needs to be removed for the sake of the game. I'll be happy going with the ref's decisions. Enough is enough. If Sane was offside, then VVD was certainly not offside, and consequently we were robbed of a penalty. No comment on Gomez. Everyone else will happily fill in the dots.

Midfield of Henderson, Wijnaldum and Keita, announced for today. I feel much better with Hendo in there. Should be a cracking game if Keita can weave in and out of their midfield.

After seeing Salah's new haircut, I'm convinced we need a Hairstyle coach too. Now waiting for Firmino to reconfirm my suspicions.

I know it will be very very emotional and the biggest relief when we lift the trophy tonight, but I hope everyone stays home and way from Anfield tonight. We don't need to endanger others during these perilous times and we certainly don't more people saying what a bunch of idiots and morons we LFC supporters are. Klopp has said we will have a proper celebration later when possible, and he has always kept his word with the fans, till date.
