We done alright today considering nothing points wise to play for, emotional week and no doubt few late nights (well earned) . Thought chelsea would've beat us well 2bh and really we as good as them on the day and had the chances to win.

Terrible performance, we completely look out on our feet. V lucky we have gap on arsenal in league as we do look spent in midfield in particular.

Didn't play well 2nite especially from start of 2nd half til when we scored. everton deserved at least a point. Salah+ mac our best players I thought.
The ref a disgrace, free kick for 1st goal never touched him, konate pushed for the 2nd. Mo not getting free kick in injury time. Dunno whether he intimated by crowd r just corrupt.

Got better and better as game went, we played really well 2nd half some super football.
Gakpo great game I thought. Nunez really good as well particularly his link play, that as good as I've seen him link it. Bradley good + 2 x cbs v v solid.

What a 3pts that is. Back 4 outstanding I thought. Wirtz got better and better as game went on. jones done well when came on.
Why has nobody told me stevie g back playing no.8.?!

Delighted with the 3pts, thought we would struggle 2nite to win but win we did. 1st half went as I expected under the cosh particularly 1st 30mins. 2nd half we v poor u would think Newcastle had the extra man. Konate+kerkez never even jumped for header for there goals, if u can't win it make it awkard for opponent.
Konate form is a serious worry, he allover the place.
Szobo great game mom for us. vvd excellent and grav done well.

We seemed to run out of legs after 60-70mins, maybe tough week of training but palace certainly looked stronger at end. Etikeke + wirtz v good 1st hour and thought in general our attacking play v sharp. Defensively poor all game, didn't look together as a unit defensively and vvd made more mistakes in that game than he did all of last season.
At end of day it's a glorified friendly and I think it will do us good as regards starting the season, we know we need to sharpen up and tighten up as if we start season the way we played last 30mins we in trouble.

Sluggish enough performance but we ground it out again which sign of a good team. i'd say last time we played really well was Newcastle game at anfield.
In saying that we had enough chances to win 2 games, great strike from trent. Vvd played well.
