Poor performance, great result. Another reminder that virg and salah need to sign those contracts. They're at a level above the rest in their key positions and we wouldn't be challenging if they're weren't performing. They are blessings and they have to be rewarded.

Decent result against a half strength arsenal side. Decent because of how wr applied ourselves. Remain unconvinced by this team and slot.

With reguards to Richards and co, it's not about zubi though that was a mess.
The contracts of those 3 players. How he answered those questions a few week backs and his mannerisms. He's out of his depth and him and his mates should never have been appointed in such positions for one of the biggest clubs in world football.

Gordon would have been a great buy at a reasonable price. Would have been a great option in certain games to stretch certain teams and a great option from the bench.

Carraghers a disgrace on sky putting all the light of that performance on nunez . Also calling for him to be sold. Simply disgraceful. How about discussing our dreadful play for the last 2 years.

Conor bradleys second half performance was reminiscent of how he plays for his international team. Making those brilliant runs and looks a goal threat. Played higher and Linked up really well. We have an attacking full back that is going to eventually score 10 plus goals a season.
The tackle against mbappe awoke the anfield crowd too. The lad still has a lot to learn and improve on but what's there already he's going to be special for us.

Jones mom. Him and grav have to start against arsenal. Toss up between mac and sob. Sob works really hard and presses high but doesn't do enough for me to be starting. Mac doesn't have the legs if arsenal are on it.

A wins always a great time result but i remained unconvinced as games go on. I'll wait until Christmas before really judging slot. The midfield can certainly improve with the exception of grav. Mac/ jones and sob can all be top drawer when they want to be. Maybe it's a combination of them being played out of their favoured position plus opposition. Endos not favoured atall by slot which is unfortunate as the Premier league requires an endo type imo. Glad to see a few players getting game time today. Still disappointed i didn't see bradley even get a run out. Allison i jury is a minor blow but there's the international break for 2 week plus we have kelleher who's a very good goalie. I look forward to elliot returning and hopefully get ting a chance to fight for a midfield spot.

Jones deserves to start today and in sobs position after his performance Wednesday. Sobs my favourite midfielder but he isn't performing to the standards required. Jones deserves a chance today.

I really like arne slot. Nice presence about him, seems very genuine and is very on the button with regards to the club. Really hopes he succeeds with us.
