What do you say about that 1st half performance konate and van dyke are absolutely shocking our midfielders can only pass the ball backwards and the front 3 are at nothing running around like headless chickens. It's a time for leaders and grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck but the whole team looks like it's afraid to take a chance in case they are at fault for a goal, jayus lads this is a chance to make a statement and we are like a bunch of pansies getting out musseled all over the pitch. There is absolutely no pace to our attacks and at this rate we will never score in total contrast every time Everton get into our half they look like they will score, some hairdryer treatment is needed big time at half time or else we will be lucky to get a bloody draw out of this, this is not the type of performance you'd be expecting to see from a team trying to close out the league it's extremely worrying how poor we are once again. Come on the f##k lads it's the bloody Merseyside Derby how can you not be up for it for gods sake.

Fair play another win, 3 from 3 winning ugly is becoming a habit but we'll take it. Hopefully the performances get better with time, Slob was outstanding yet again today miles ahead of everyone.

Slob playing well again at RB but should be in midfield with Bradley in at full back and Wirtz on the bench. Team selection so so wrong, Arsenal are completely bossing the midfield we have absolutely no link up with our forward line who are living off of scraps, give it no more than 60 mins and change it Slot before we are 1 nil down. Absolutely no drive in us to try and creat anything it's like we are happy with a draw, so so disappointing with our performance so far do you think Arsenal would be so flat and unambitious if the fixture was reversed I think not.

You can't have a midfield 3 of Grav Mac and Wirtz against Arsenal getting out musseled at the moment, Wirtz who is a great player was a luxury buy but you can't have him in a midfield 3 he's just not strong enough and having a bit of a stinker so far this half we have been very quiet all over the pitch it's like we don't want to take any chances at all everything is slow and laboured front 3 not in the game at all.

Morning all

I suppose I'm like most liverpool supporters this weather excited for the new season ahead with all our shiny new toys.
Isak if it gets done will be another fantastic addition for us in our quest for No21 and Champions league glory. I really hope we don't get our pants pulled down and pay £150 million for him great player but not worth that kind of money even in today's mad mad world.
If he doesn't happen I hope we sign a CB and a winger come striker someone who is quick and can play across the front 3, my only worry now is that everyone knows that we have money to burn at present and player prices may be raised if we show an interest in someone.
Maybe with Morton going to Lyon we have brokered a deal that will see Fofana coming the other way and possibly Guehi is further up the line than we know. What I will say is that Hughes knows what is needed and will deliver whatever is humanily possible in these areas, either way we will have set ourselves up well for the next 5 yrs or more which will allow us to stay right in the hunt at the top table both in the premiership and in Europe.
Exciting times ahead lads, let's just enjoy the ride and see what happens either way it's been one hell of a window and I don't think we are finished yet! I hope all these well needed additions and upgrades gel quickly as all eyes will be on us to make a good start at home to Bournemouth Friday week, so anything less than a win and the media knives will be out straight away, hope we ram it all down their necks this year and retain our league title anything after that is a bonus.

Wirtz off the mark today, it was a good test for us today to get match fitness god knows watching the 1st 60 mins we need it badly, Ekitike looked very good works hard good 1st touch, Kerkez was solid enough without being spectacular it will take time for everyone to gel, what I have noticed today is that we are very narrow going forward and sloppiness in midfield at times gets us caught on the counterattack saying that Nyoni scores from a great Frimpong cross to give us the lead, all in all more positives than negatives so far today ?
