I had no idea how huge Van Den Berg was! There is a video of him meeting Klopp on the official site and I have never seen Klopp have to look up at someone!

So much panic about regarding the 2020 Olympics and AFCON 2021 disrupting next year. We will only be missing Salah, Keita, Minamino and Mane.

I seem to be seeing Liverpool fans writing off next season.

Klopp managed to get through the Christmas period with a 100% record despite only having 14 senior players at one point. I wish a section of our fans would put some respect on his name.

Chelsea used to lose Mikel, Kalou, Essien and Drogba all at the sane time and they just cracked on. Sure we can too.

I love an over the top analysis of something minor so here goes nothing (fits tinfoil hat) .

Liverpool have again updated their first team squad page on the official site with Adrian signing. However they've retaken everyone's photo with the new kit.

Or have they? None of the loaned out players had their picture retaken, but there were 5 players still listed as at the club Who also didn't make the cut for a picture. Clyne, Kent, Jones, Ejaria and Chirivella.

With that in mind I expect we'll see Kent, Ejaria and Chirivella sold. Curtis Jones probably will be loaned out. Clyne probably just missed the photo shoot because he's in rehab but I suspect he is also for sale if anyone wants a player out with a knee injury in the last 24 hours.

Van Den Berg was also given a squad number finally (72) and Kelleher was photographed in the new black kit so it looks like he'll be 3rd choice keeper behind Alisson and Adrian who also has a squad number now (13).

Sure, I'm not tracking planes but I'm working night shift this week so I need something to do during the day!

Obviously never seen Van den Berg play other than highlights but I wonder if he might take the Joe Gomez approach and start out as right/ left back cover? Interestingly, Berg started out as a winger before converting to centre back. Would explain why he looks ridiculously quick for a centre back. Interesting signing. Exciting for the future, for sure. Hopefully see him in and around the first team squad in the coming years. Welcome VDB!
