It's my birthday today. Spur win was the best present. Never been so far ahead at this time of year. Making it one of my better birdays as a 80 something. Now very soon, in as year, my life will start. Mot holding my breath.

Anyone getting really bored of no football? I medically miss football focus. The midday kick off. The big game at 3.

I cannot wait to see the boys run out as European champions. Putting the fear into EVERY team in the premier league.

That'll do! can't see porto doing us by 3, no way. And city beaten. By a team they have to play twice more.

Im telling you lads, i can smell a double coming.

Red tinted galasses off all.

Will we do it? Did we blow it with Leicester? I just can't believe we are going to win the Premier league. We never win the premier league.

I have never wanted utd to win so much in my life. I have never wanted them to win.

I think we can do it, i think we are stressing city with pur persistence.

Im going to say yes. If we miss out to city i think we will win the European Cup.

Bit of fun. Fabhino or mascherano. Then does fab have the potential to get near souness's level in the next 5 years.

I keep saying it, and it's probably because my prime as a fan has seen us fall short all the time, but I think today might be difficult. I can see a draw or a tight win tonight.

I can't believe it's only 4 wins away.

Someone asked a question the other day about possible front 3s. I think I went for A, torres suarez and fowler. It got me thinking about torres, so I watched his 81 Liverpool goals. I absolutely loved torres at Liverpool and I think we'd have won the league if he had stayed fit. Shame (for us) that he went to that world Cup when he wasn't fully recovered but can't slate him for winning a world Cup.

But what a finisher the lad was. I remember his debut, Terry was screaming in his face and he stood up to him, then of course, scored the winner. I think suarez was more tenacious and fowler probably the more natural player, but torres was some finisher. Could score from anywhere and made it look easy. I think a torres in his prime would walk into any team in the world. Absolute class act.

Listen, let's not make too much of a big deal out of it. We have to stick by our team and manager. We are in such a good place, let's trust the youngsters. They've proved they can give a good account of themselves. We are always saying our youngster should get more game time. Now they have the chance we are saying its wrong. And as wirral wonder has said, they need THEIR coach there.

No disrespect intended but it is only shrewsbury at home. We'd be playing a second team no matter what.

Let's not rock the boat. Other will try so let's stick together and back our manager and our young starlets. I for one am looking forward to seeing elliot, Jones and Williams again. Decent players who should see off shrewsbury.

It's official. Liverpool are the best team in the world. Well played boys, especially hendo. Thought he was excellent and I don't know how he managed to stay professional with some of those decisions. Ref was unbelievably bad.

Gutted for the ox. I really hate rafhinio. What a door knob.

I said I'd be pleased enough with a draw. Even happier that lallana, if not restarting his anfield career, has a big goal to take with him.
We took point from old Trafford. More pressure on ole.
