Tyler Adams to Chelsea seems to have broken down. It all appears to be a part of the plan for Chelsea wherein they can use that £20M for Adams on getting Caicedo deal over the line.

Everything about Caicedo screams "Stay far far away from this lad". Someone who has made publicly clear that he is desperate to join a rival club. Why are we so hell bent on signing him wasting time and resources rather than focusing on other targets (if there are any remaining this late in the window)?

This might be against the common opinions but I don't think we need to add a midfielder this window. If we buy one, it may eat away the game time that Elliot, Carvalho and Jones might get which will shun their development. I honestly believe Elliot can be a game changer this season along with Carvalho. Apart from that we still have Hendo, Thiago and Fabs. Not even counting Milly, Keita and Ox. It's a midfield factory out there.

I think it's fine if Salah leaves and gets what he wants in terms of contract elsewhere. There is nothing wrong in looking for a better financial deal especially when you deserve it and of course he does. Everyone does it. At the same time we cannot blame FSG as well. If we don't have the financial push to get this through, so be it. The hierarchy cannot put the club at risk longer term.

The best way forward would be to try selling him in the summer and reinvest in someone who is as close to him as possible. That would be ideal for both the parties.
