Great result that. The whole team played well. Nuñez should be man of the match for me as he was everywhere. Tracking back and clearing the ball in defence as well as playing a part in some goals. Hardly put a foot wrong. We need to keep this guy for the shift he puts in when he plays.

Not LFC related, but i was wondering if it's just me who's a bit miffed at the fact that Bayern Munich are courting Kompany for the managers job? I mean, he gets Burnley relegated from the prem, then is offered what could arguably be a very prestigious job in Europe. I don't get it. Talk about rewarding failure.

I hope I'm left with egg on my face but the match is over. A combination of factors has led to this in my opinion. First we are burnt out. Then we have less than impressive tactics. Jota never works when he starts. He's a super sub and always has been. A lack of squad investment is also a factor. So many of us foresaw the coming burn out and rightfully called for reinforcements. A call not headed to by the owners. And then we have the employment of dark arts. Media been bigging Newcastle up all week. Then that, along with the obvious bias towards Liverpool by the resident anti LFC commentator brigade, followed by officials who are clearly wearing their black and white boxers. we were never winning it.

I seriously fear for the league at this rate, and it pains me to say it.

Var being very selective on what replays it shows. Salah was never offside yet got one reply, no lines or anything. Jotas goal viewed several times from the least convincing angle possible. Betting syndicate not ready for a 3-0 scoreline, or that old chesnut or incompetence again?

As soon as the two Everton players clashed at the end, i just knew that oliver would play on until they equalised. He's had his blue pants on all match so no surprise. And VAR at the end. Offside? No, fair enough. Fould on Konate? Defo. Crap match though, and even worse commentary.

It's like we're playing to lose. Apart from Mcconnell who is the only stand out player on there, the rest have been rubbish at best. Seen one Liverpool attempt in the last hour. Squad quality is clearly not good or big enough to challenge on all fronts.

A few observations about the match so far. Bournemouth need to gain European football so they can re-invest the money into the ground, which will allow for more than two camera angles, and allow for a change from the half way line / row G coverage. Commentators chat out their back end most of the time, and especially the female ones. Trent left his Bournemouth shirt at home given how much he gave the ball back to them. Salah is a legend, sort his contact now.
