This game just shows how much better we are defensively when we have Matip. Now fans will begin to appreciate his value more.

God, I hope we don't go into the season with this preseason form. We have been dreadful.
I personally think most of the players are being complacent, and the only thing that can rejuvenate them is proper competition for places, but sadly we don't look like signing any first team player at the moment.
